Personal Statement:
My creativity and imagination make this field of work not just a pleasure, but a medium through which I can express myself. When confronted with a task, I immediately build up a picture of what needs done.
In a recent team rolls survey, I came out as the planter, or man with the plan so to speak. A lot of my experience exists as both a team player and an individual. Therefore I have been tested in the ways of the industry.
As I am a composed person I have no intention of panicking over a project. Time management and planning are very important to me. These skills help me realise my boundaries and possibilities in a project.
I have always been creative and artistic, but chose to study Technology rather than Art for my A-Levels. I believed Technology would allow me to apply my ideas whilst learning how they can be developed into true applications.
The same concept then carried over when studying Creative Multimedia Technologies. The course allowed me to apply creative graphic design to the technologies or software of the multimedia industry.
The course also taught me the importance of thinking outside the design, and how to approach a project, realising how function should compliment form.
As a result, my final year project received an award for Best Website from the College, and I went on to graduate with 1st Class honours.
My aim in life is simply to enjoy it. That is why I am entering this industry.
