This wesite is dedicated to the late Gia Marie Carangi. Gia was a supermodel of the late 70's to the mid 80's. Even though she was in the fashion world for such a short time, she helped to break the blonde model epidemic. She set the trend with style, grace, beauty and attitude.
She was a drug addicted lesbian, who was adored by the fashion world and by her mother. . After she became addicted to heroin, her family and her friends tryed to help, but they seemed to late. She had came upon the fatal disease, AIDS. She wanted to live and she tryed everything to cure her disease, but at that time no one knew about AIDS, so she died within a matter of months.
Even though she is no longer with us, she will always be remembered. |
