Well here goes, I was born in 1959, in my opinion the end of the innocence and beginning of the 60's, so allot of my influences are from the 60's. I am the oldest of three brothers born in San Francisco and grew up in Daly City 5 houses down from fellow band mate and friend for most of my life Lobo (Michael Amadio). Started my interest in music the night I saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show when I was 4 years old, and pursued that interest ever since. All through my growing up I've had many musical influences,I pretty much like all music. From my fathers favorites like Mexican music and old country music like Hank Williams to Jazz, Pop, Blues, Rock and any other cool music is great with me. I do have four main influences and they are, 1st the Beatles for their originality and musicianship and camaraderie as a band, 2nd Elvis well you know why, third Dean Martin for showing us what it is to be "Too Cool for School" and last but definitely not least Lobo for having the same dream as me and the guts to go out and get it..... Back to myself I guess. I have 4 great kids 3 of them are too old to mention without revealing my mischief as a younger man. The 4th is my, say.. new life angel(Candice) who gives me a reason for what I do now a days, and her Mother, my wife Jodi, has helped me to see my potential in this life. Then there's the Band, we started this about 5 years ago now, and it's really turned things around ten fold in the way I see how things can be done with the right People and situation. At this point in my life I don't see how things can get much better (Lotto winner, record contract) maybe. So that's it for now. All I can say is that I'll keep on Livin,Lovin and Rockin to be happy, cause this is my main goal in life anyway, probably another Dean Martin influence, Oh yeah That's Amore all right. |
