| This edition of the site is called "Water Mirror" after Hijikata-fukuchou's now-infamous haiku, which goes along the lines of: |
| 'Face to face, Hearts are as still as Water-mirrors.' |
| Who knew the Fukuchou was such a sap! Still, the poetry is meaningful and wrought with deep emotions. It epitomizes the series' sense of a "deep breath before the plunge". In honor of the beauty of warrior-poetry, this first verion is dedicated to the Oni-Fukuchou-san. |
