lemon punch |
i cut this recipe down from serving 100 to serving maybe 25-30. the original recipe suggests floating strawberries and mint leaves on the top, as well. |
ingredients:
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
1 lemon, sliced
2 cups lemon juice
1 gallon spring water
1 gallon sparkling water
ice
instructions:
combine the water, sugar and 1/2 sliced lemon in a small pan and heat to boiling. boil for 5 minutes, stirring.
-turn off heat and cool sugar mixture.
-once cooled, add lemon juice and stir. put in large container and refrigerate.
-before serving, stir in spring and sparkling water and ice and float other 1/2 sliced lemon on top.
serves 25-30
