Explanation

This is Devon Trevarrow Flaherty (maiden name, Devon Marie Trevarrow) and Kevin Danforth Flaherty. We are on the verge of a very exciting project and we need you to help us out. All we are asking for is some of your time to fill out the included survey and dig out some old family photos.

The project that we are working on is called the �Family Book�. Both of us grew up with rather large families who were (and are) very important to us. We would like to start to record the history of our two families, and pass it down to our children (not on the way yet) and their children, and on and on. So we decided to start a large journal, which would include entries from all of the family members up to our great grandparents (and maybe even a couple beyond). On Devon�s side, this includes the Dickeys, Sterns, Trevarrows and some of their offshoots-by-marriage. On Kevin�s side, this includes the Blooms and Flahertys and some of their offshoots-by-marriage.

Your entry in the book will be a few pages (up to whatever length you decide with the quantity of your information). It will also include three photos of you and any important family shots (or other photos) that you wish to include (and label with names, please). Your entry will be made when you reach your 40th birthday, or any time after (with updates later in life). You may contact us when you think the entry should be updated, or will contact you again. (In the case of the untimely death of a family member under 40, the close friends and family of the entrant will prepare their entry.) If you are under 40, we ask that you fill out a survey and we will put it on file for future use. Devon will be creating the entries, based on the surveys. No material will be fictionalized in the book.
