The first week is dedicated
mainly to the Utah National Parks and then we'll go to Arizona for the
Grand Canyon. |
Going from St. Louis to Moab,
Utah, implies a 1300 mile drive on Hwy 70. More than 200 miles in
Missouri, 400 miles in Kansas and another 200 miles in Colorado have
been on a straight road on a field, with small villages from place to
place, besides Kansas City and Denver. Right after Denver, the mountains
with unbelievable slopes that were tough on Clio. Most of the time we
could drive with 80 miles per hour but when we went to 85 the air
conditioner stopped working. We went back to 80 and everything was fine.

We were pretty good, visiting everything we
had on our agenda, something more, and having a great time. |
We were almost a day ahead of the schedule so
we spent some time dong nothing. |
