exarts One of the things we did with Shakun were the mummies.  The mummies we did out of clay.  First we threw them on the table to get all the bubbles out.  Then we made a square shape.  Then with another piece of clay we did the shape of the mummy that we wanted.  Then we wrote our names in Egyptian.  Then we let it dry and then it is done.  Oh, but you must never let the clay dry.  We had to be spraying water on them.

Another project that we did was the cans.  We chose whichever can we wanted.  Then after that we decorated them with lentils, beans, and sunflower seeds.  It was kind of hard because the beans were heavy and kept falling off when the glue was still wet.  After that we let it dry.  Then it is done.

Another project that we did were the binders.  We put whatever we wanted on the binders.  Then we copied the same design but this time we did it with small pieces of paper.  That is called mosaic.  After that we put plastic over the binder.  We put the plastic so that it will protect it and it won't come off.

The final project that we worked on was the Technicolor Rainbow Glass Stone.  For this one, we made a design with glass.  After that, we put plastic over it and put them all together on a big tray.  They put grout over it and then cement.  It came out pretty cool.  With a sponge we went gently over the top.  Now the glass is very shiny.minnstudents
