Luis stormed into the cottage, swearing under his breath. "I gotta live here with you and be your bodyguard. Yeah, yeah, I don't like it either." He threw his duffel bag onto the couch.
"Luis, you're here and you're going to stay awhile?" She repeated loudly so that Tree and Kat could hear her.
"Why are you talking so loud? Look, I gotta check the rooms." Luis stood up and went to the room where the girls were.
"No, um... I mean, let's have a nice talk." Sher said stepping in his way.
"What's your problem, anyway?" He opened the door and looked inside. Sher braced herself for the yelling, but it never came. "All clear here."
"What?!" she went in and found a note on the back of the door. Ripping it off before Luis could see it, she read the letter quickly.

Luis has come and we had to get away. I'm in the main house and so is Tree, if you need us. We're going on with our plans. I'm going to get Mom and Dad together, and Tree's going to work on Ethan. We'll meet at noon to check up on Chad at the hospital. Good luck with Luis.

Time to put my strategy into action. "So, Luis, you wanna know what changed with us?"

Kat and Tree climbed out the window, careful to not mess up their outfits. They reached the house and realized they'd been holding their breath since the cottage. "I'm going to work on Ivy, remember we meet at the hospital at noon." Kat said as she went into the living room and Tree went upstairs to talk to Ethan.
"Hi, Ivy." Kat said as she sat down on the couch.
"Kay, are you feeling well? After that little charade yesterday I thought you may be sick." Ivy said and put a supportive hand on her shoulder.
Kay recalled the conversation last night at started her act.
Flash back
"Someone's going to be suspecting us, too. I mean, we acted pretty outlandish. Kat called Ivy her mother, Tree kissed Ethan, luckily the guys should be easy enough to handle, seeing as how Detective Luis didn't even think of what I said to him as advances so I think I'm okay." Sher warned them.
"I thought of that already. Here's the story. 'I'm sorry for the way I acted yesterday. Sheridan got some herbs from a shop in Paris and it made me and Theresa go totally delirious. We didn't know what we were doing but we're better now. It wore off and now we have a clear head.' " Kat said with a sneaky smirk.
"Right on, Kat!" Tree said and high-fived her best friend.
End Flashback
"Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that, Kay." Ivy replied to the oscar-worthy performance Kat gave.
"It's quite all right, I should be apologizing to you. I'm sure you were so confused with my ranting. I remember what happened but it's still a bit of a blur." Kat said while holding her head for effect. "But, Ivy, I didn't come here just to apologize, though I am terribly sorry."
"What did you come for then, Kay?"
"I know so much about you, Ivy." Kat noticed the locket and leaned back comfortably. "I know whose picture is in that locket, who is Ethan's father, so very much information." She smiled. "Don't think of it as blackmail, Ivy. Think of it as a partnership."

Tree stopped outside of Ethan's door and looked in the mirror across the hallway. 'Hmm, I don't look distraught enough.' She took some water out of the flower vase and wet her eyes so that her make up would run just a bit. 'Oh, Ethan. It's just horrible! I don't want you to have to hear this from me, but... Okay, perfect. Distraught and supportive little Theresa is here to get you, Ethan Ben... Crane.' and with that thought she literally ran into Ethan's room.
"Ethan, you need to sit down. First of all, I want to apologize for what happened yesterday. Sheridan gave me some herbs that she brought back from Europe to help me relax but it made me and Kay delusional. But I have some news about Gwen, just remember I am here for you no matter what and-"
"I know you're here for me, Theresa. I forgive you for yesterday, now just calm down and tell me what this is about Gwen." Ethan said in a soothing voice.
Tree turned away to give it a more dramatic touch. "Gwen, is....." She looked at him right in the eyes and hoped that she wouldn't smile. "SHE'S HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH HANK BENNETT!!!" and with that, Ethan fell off his bed... and Gwen, coming back early from her business trip, walked into the room.
