I scanned the image of the Coke bottle from The Look Of The Century, which is a book about design during the twentieth century. Coke has obviously had many many many slogans over the years, and somehow the only one I could remember was their original slogan, "Coca Cola: The Pause That Refreshes" (I didn't want to write "Always Coca Cola"). It has a nice retro kitsch appeal, no? And of course green Coca Cola bottles are all the rage again. Just ask Andy Warhol (or not, he's been dead for fifteen years or so). They sell them at the novelty store in our mall, and kids claim that the Coke in the green bottles tastes better than Coke in a can or plastic bottle. To each his own. Non-browsersafe colours: dark green (#504D3C) for the links, light green (#F6F8ED) for the background of the short description section. The font for "the pause that refreshes" is Loki Cola, but I can't remember where I got it. If you write enough stuff, this will start to scroll. But I won't do it here because I can't think of anything else to say. << >> |
