My Artificial Family

May 24-- Well, here it is. My first Weblog entry is finally up. Most of the past couple days have been spent getting my site re-done, so nothing interesting has happened. Saturday we played Tamworth Magpies in Tamworth and lost 29-14. About 5 guys I had never seen before showed up and played for us, and the fact that they've never been to training showed. This week we play Narrabri at home. Today is Victoria Day at home... I miss my friends.
May 27-- We played Nazza yesterday, and won! It's a rare occasion around here to actually win a game. I suffered some pretty crappy cheap-shots from Narrabri players, and I'm feeling pretty rough this morning. Sam and I went back to the footy ground to watch the Super 12 finals, and the Brumbies beat the piss out of the Sharks 36-6. I was kinda surprised to see Alf at the footy ground yesterday, I just imagined that with his brother in the Super 12 final, he'd go down to Canberra to cheer him on. Today's excitement consists of getting the oil changed in Sam's car.
