Training a dog is very important for the development of your dog. It gives a sense of communication between the master and the dog. Communicatin is nescessary for your to clearly obey his master. Dogs are very active animals, they need lot of attention, they will destroy/bite anything they see liying around,so, it's very important to teach the dog dicipline:
Giving your dog some simple commands like;stop, heel, stay, etc. then praising it, if it follows the command, will make the dog get used to the command; whether it's a praise or a scold, and eventually know if what he's doing is wrong which will make the dog stop doing that action. The easiest way for your dog to learn faster is giving it a treat and praising the dog, it will make him know the he is doing a good job; wich makes him obey each command faster.
Training your dog to sit
2.When the dog does the action, say to him sit. If he does sit give him his favorite treat.
3.Sometimes, dogs don't always follow these commands at the first or second try'if the dog dosen't do it; carefully put your dog down by his end, after your dog does it, praise him/her or give a treat.
4.Do all the step over and over till your dog gets used to the command, continue praising/rewarding him/her.
Training your dog to come at command
2.Stay in a position where your dog can see you. While holding a treat, call your dog by saying come.
3.When the dog comes to you, make sure you reward and praise him/her.
4.Keep on repeating the command until your dog follows it, always respond to it(if he/she obey's the command)by praising the dog.
Training yor dog to fetch simple objects
1.Hold any play object that your dog likes, then try to get his/her attention.
2.Toss the play thing, and say fetch.
3.After the dog picks it up, patiently wait for him/her come to you and to let go of it.
4.When the dog does the trick successfully, praise and give the treat.
5.Repeat several times to get the dog familiarized with the trick, every time the dog does the trick successfully, praise and give the treat.
