Power Rankings

10.Jackson Jailbirds [1-5]
Easily the worst team in the league, although they beat the league's second worst team last weekend by one point. In the closing seconds of the game, QB Manny Rodriguez ran for the win from FORTY yards out!!! It was truly unbelievable, maybe the most exciting game in MIFL history although played by the two worst teams in the league. Manny's a great quarterback, but I think he's maxed out his potential, and I see this team going nowhere fast. Nobody will be able to save this team, unless the owner pulls some crap off; too late for this season.

9. Pittsburgh Devils [0-6]
So what if they have an 0-6 record? That doesn't mean they're worse than the Jackson Jailbirds. Two of their losses have come down to one point, and their players MUST be getting frustrated, hell, I know I would be, but I think they have a good chance to win two or three games out of the next four. Their Goshburns trade didn't go through, and they're both disappointed (Pitt and Goshburns).

8. Rochester Ramblers [2-4]
They're definitely one of the worst teams in the league after getting WAXED by the Houston Steers by the score of sixty-two to NOTHING. They were BLANKED. The only reason they have won twice, is because they've faced the Jackson Jailbirds twice; both times coming out victorious. They have one of the easiest schedules in the league, but they're terrible, so it wont help too much.

7. Sacramento Cyclones [2-4]
A new owner wont help when the trade deadline has passed and he can't do nothin' to help his team out. The Cyclones are in deep crap, and they don't have a messiah comin' either. I don't think they'll win a game the rest of the season - they lost to the Tumbleweeds by EIGHTEEN points!!! Nobody is good on this team, and they'd be farther back had they not beaten my team by twenty the first game of the season.

6. El Paso Tumbleweeds [2-4]
The savior of this team is Tony McDugan, one of the biggest players in the league. McDugan is one of the best receivers in the league, but he can't do it all himself, and he's going to have trouble winning with a bunch of nobodies. The Weeds don't have much else to show, now that a few of their players have become inactive (Wade's players), and it could really end up hurting them a lot. The new owner has a hell of a job in front of him.

5. Atlanta Bulldogs [5-1]
Records can be deceiving, as shown here. I don't think that this team would have the same record against a tougher schedule. They have one of the easiest schedules in the league, but showed they are a good team by pummeling the Weeds. I think they could be one of the best teams, but they'll need to prove it to me a little more. They have two great players in Mike McNaughton and Shane Prime, but those two are the only ones on their sides of the ball that can really do anything.

4. Miami Storm [4-2]
They lost to the Baltimore Bolts by nine, and that's why I put them ranked lower than the Bolts. They have the best player in the league, easily. He and Andrew Rogers have single-handedly taken their sides of the ball to three wins. I don't know if they can both keep it up, or if they'll burn out. Their two losses to Baltimore have shown that they are not a better team than the Bolts.

3. Baltimore Bolts [4-2]
Yeah, I know, it's my team, but I have good reason to believe they're a great team. Although they loss to the Cyclones 37-17 at the beginning of the season, they have improved much since. They lost only by 6 to the Raiders [4-0], less than the Steers did the first time. They've got two great leaders on offense, and the best linebacker in the league in Jamal Degeratto. Matt Meckes is one of the best runningbacks in the league and they have one of the best receiving cores in the league to add to that.

2. Houston Steers [4-2]
I don't see how they've lost to the Raiders TWICE, but they have, proving that they are the worser team. Houston has one of the best defenses in the league, easily, but they had a rough time against the Raiders. They have a few awesome players on offense, too, including P.O.M. Sofa Moore. I think they made a big no-no in trading Dustin Parmelee, the best quarterback in the league.

1. San Francisco Raiders [6-0]
The best team in the league, clearly, facing the toughest schedule in the league, facing the Houston Steers TWICE and beating them BOTH times. They also faced the Baltimore Bolts and beat them. Mitch Forrester, the league's second best running back, and the league's second best quarterback in Shane Evitts, but they have one thing on the Steers. They have some of the best wide receivers in the league.
