MIFL Insider - Three Teams in one hour
Baltimore Take Down the Storm Again

The Baltimore Bolts once again, have risen to the occasion. In a game that would give them sole possession of first place, the Bolts beat the Miami Storm, who were currently leading the Bolts by one game. "This was a HUGE game for us; the biggest one of the season. But then of course almost every game of has been a huge game for us so far - no game has been a push over. Next week is the biggest game of the season for us and we need to win it, it would be huge if we did.

"We (the Bolts) will most likely finish the season with eight wins and two losses given they finish the season strong if they win next weekend. They will have a tough opponent to wrestle with next Sunday, as they take on the Houston Steers, MIFL Insider's number two team in the power rankings. The Steers are led by Sofa Moore, the league's best running back (statistic-wise) on offense, and Jay Heggis, the league's second best linebacker (statistic-wise) on defense. The Steers' defense consists of stars such as defensive end, Harry "Boom"Boomchenko, cornerback, Matthew Walker, Jay Soester, linebacker, and Jake "The" Snake, defensive tackle. The Steers have a very powerful and deep defense. They have no weak positions. Their offense is also very strong, but I think our defense will be able to stop them if we can manage to contain Sofa Moore. It will be a hell of a job, but we can do it.

The Miami coach commented, "They outplayed us, they just wanted it more. They were stronger and more pumped up for this game than my boys were, we need to work on getting up for games. The only one that played well was Franco." He was asked about next weekend's game against Jackson, and replied, "It should be an easy game for us, we'll dominate the Jailbirds, all we need to do is get it to Franco or Shuan and they'll take care of the rest. Our defense should have an easier time than they did today."

Now only time will tell who will come out the victor. Miami faces a much tougher schedule down the stretch and it looks like paradise after next week for Baltimore. Miami has to go up against San Francisco and Houston in consecutive weeks, and both games should be losses for the Storm, and I think Baltimore will take the Heishman Division in a thrilling race between the two teams.
