| My name is Lucy Agnes Samms ( nee: MIESSEAU ) Born Feb.7/42 in Woodville, Newfoundland. I am the daughter of George Thomas Miesseau & Mary Agnes Dalton. I married John Clifford Samms and we have 4 children and 7 Grandchildren. I came from a family of 10..... 6 brothers and 3 sisters. |
| It all started when a gentleman named Allen Miessau was putting together his family tree and it was then discovered that he was related to me and I had never met or heard of him. His father and my father were half brothers and I didn't even know that my dad had any brothers or sisters. This is where I was so curious that I had to find out for my self if my dad had any more family. |
| I have been reserching my family and have gotten alot of information , but I am still missing some links I guess you could say. It turns out that my dad had 1 half brother and 3 half sisters that I didn't he know he had. When I think about it we never knew much about my fathers family. The surname was spelled differently to the way we spelt ours. I am looking for any information on this and if you can help me in any way please email me at [email protected] There are several different ways that MIESSEAU is spelt.
