| Frederick Samms was b.June 29,1894 in Codroy,Nfld. and d.Nov.27,,1912 in Sydney,Nova Scotia. . Frederick Samms was drowned when the steamer *City of Sydney* collided with the Dominion Coal company ship,*Douglas H.Thomas* in Sydney Harbour. 5 men lost their lives in this accident. Frederick's body was never found. His grandfather James , and his uncle Emmanuel drowned Mar.21,1895 Together they had the following children: |
