| My Father James J Donnellan, known in the Music Industry as Jay Lewis has been the most influencial man in my life and instilled in me my passion for music at a very young age. As far back as I can remember I was in one recording studio or another in Southern California... It was my second home LOL. He is best known for his work as lead guitar for the group "LOVE" with Arthur Lee during the late sixtie's. He continued his career co-founding the band "MORNING" with two releases on Fantasy and Vault Records. Tons of studio work, touring and playing with artists from Art Garfunckel to Albert Hammond, which he played guitar on the famous "It never rains in Southern California" He is most known as a engineer for his work engineering Gary Wrights "Dream Weaver" but also worked on another of Gary's albums as well as Lorna Wrights "Circle of Love" album. He also engineered Players " Spies of Life"" album, Players "Baby Come Back", among others such as Brian and Brenda's "Supersonic Lover" album, Sharon O'Neil's "Ready to Love" album, Jon Stevens "Jezabell" album, Paul Woroff"s " California Son" album and many more. Among all his work for other Artists, he also was in the group Morning which released two albums, including "Struck Like Silver" and has written many songs. He is also an very talented singer, musician, songwriter... check out his new cd "THIS ISLAND EARTH". He has worked with some incredible artists such as Elton John, David Foster, Barbara Mandrell, Chet McCrackin, a later drummer for the Doobie Brothers who is like an uncle to me, his daughter Dayna and I grew up together, Love ya Dayna and Uncle Chet LOL.
