The M&N is based in Onslot, WI which is also a fictional area. Onslot would be located between La Crosse and Madison WI. 

The Railroad was created from lines that the Milwaukee Road sold in the 1900s. Also most of the equipment is Ex Milwaukee Road..

Around 1945 the M&N built a new yard to handle the continuing growth of customers, and they needed the space to store Freight, and have a place to repair and store freight cars and locomotives.

The M&N Also has an off shoot company called M.I.T.X which stands for Midwest Intermodel Transportation. Which hauls Containers, through various methods. They are also the only regional Intermodel company that has there own fleet of roadrailers which are rarely seen due to they are exchanged through other railroads, Such as U.P, CN, CP, WSOR, MILW, and BNSF.

Update about the Picture page it will be redone I am running out of space for all the pictures and will be only putting up certain ones with wording instead of the thumbnail pictures sorry for this.
