| Midway is a K-6 school with 330+ students located in Alum Creek in Lincoln County, West Virginia. We have 15 classrooms, a computer lab, and a multipurpose area. Our school is served by 23 teachers, including specialists, one principal, a secretary, 4 aides, 3 cooks, and 2 janitors. | The March Faculty Senate is scheduled for Friday, March 29th. Metropolitan and Stanford 9 Testing will be conducted during the week of April 8-12th at Midway. It is very important that children are in attendance for the testing Spring Break will be the week of April 20th through the 26th. |

| Update on Young Writers: Two of our students placed in the county contest. Aaron Sowards won first place in the 5th/6th division and will compete in the state contest. Haylie Ellis came in second in the 3rd/4th division. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Spring Clean-up: We want to do some cleaning up around the building and a few things inside it to improve its appearance. If you can help, two dates have been set. We will meet from 4:00 to 8:00 on Thursday, April 18th. We also plan to meet (if needed) on Saturday, April 20th from 10:00 to 2:00. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
