Hello, everyone, this is Brenda Pearson with the latest coverage on Madison's Ball. You may be thinking that all Madison's Ball is is a bunch of people dancing. EHHHHH! Oops! I'm sorry. That's the wrong answer! This ball is more than just dancing. It's about the art of dancing.
From seven to eight there will be an open floor. Anyone and everyone can dance and not worry about being thrown off. Then, at eight o'clock, the dance contest begins. Boy and girl will be coupled together to be judged on style, rhythmn, and giving it everything that they've got! We'll see everything from the tango to the macarena out here. We're going to see who's got what it takes to win this contest! Competition will be fierce, ladies and gentlemen, so expect the temperature to definetly rise!
The contest will end at nine o'clock, when the two winners are announced and crowned. After that, a student close to dearly departed Madison Gray will get up on stage and give a memorial farewell to her in speech and song. I hope you brought your kleenexes and hankies, ladies and gentlemen, because when this speaker gets up there he'll definetly jerk a few tears.
After the speech, another contest will head up. This contest will be the "See How Long a Couple Will Last" contest. This one will be a battle of endurance. Judges are going to see what couple can stay out on the dance floor the longest while still moving. You can expect many to pass out after a while from sheer exhaustion, but victory will be sweet for the winning couple when they receive a $500 reward!
So you see, folks, there's a lot more going on that just people sitting around dancing. They're dancing with a purpose! Stay tuned for the latest events of Madison's Ball, because things are just beginning to heat up!
