Character Profile: Kim was a nice girl, but had a tongue as sharp as needles. She was involved in several school activities, but most of her time was devoted to finding the right boy for her. She dated Jake Bradley for a while, but Jake's overprotectiveness drove Kim farther and farther away from him, and closer to Trace Quincy. She eventually left Jake for Trace, and the two shared a happy relationshp for quite a while. However, a confrontation with Randall Bentley about Trace's secret (Trace attempted to rig the ballots in Kim's favor for Miss Midway 2000) led to Randall's demise, and the shock of it drove Kim to run out into the middle of the street and become struck by a car. For months she was unresponsive to medical treatment in the hospital, and, after speaking with Trace for one last time, she died.
