Character Profile: Gia came to Midway Prep a self-assured, outgoing young woman. She's always interested in some kind of cause, that cause most recently being re-establishing the local teen crisis center. However, a note from her mother warning her against saying anything about Gia's "pretend rape" (Gia claimed it had happened, but her family refused to believe it) quickly cut short all of those dreams, as she immediately packed up her bags and left MP without another word. She explained to Adrienne DeMaise and Mel Clark that she was only going home, but that stay extended longer than they thought would be a summer trip home. However, after several months of absence, she's back in MP with a large burden on her shoulder.
