So, what do people call you? Why?  Relic, on good days. I got the name a long time ago, but it still fits. I'd rather take a pass on why, if you don't mind.

And your real name?  Samantha. Yeah, I don't know what my mother was thinkin', either.

Do you know your birthday? What about age?  Birthday's July 20th, and I'm 16.

All right, how about a physical description. It's for the records.  Physical description? I got brown hair that goes past my shoulders, hazel eyes, and I'm about 5'5.  I'm pretty thin - that's a nice word, ain't it? Instead of 'bony' or 'sick-looking' -  right now, but I'm hoping that having a solid, paying job will change that.

How would you describe your personality?  I'm pretty much a tomboy. I grew up around boys, so it's kind of all I know.  I cause a lot of trouble, I'm as hard-headed as a rock, and I don't take nonsense from anyone. I can be kind of... hard, sometimes, so don't take it personal, it ain't you, it's just me.  Most of the time, though, I just like to have fun.  It's hard to come by, you know?  So I try to take it wherever I can. I'm always honest, and I don't judge people. So, I got good and bad.

Have any hobbies? You must enjoy some things in this city.  I mostly just like to cause trouble. Well, that's not exactly true - I like to get into stuff I shouldn't, which ends up causing trouble. But hey, you know what they say, nothing better than to finish off a day by winning a fight! Then again, I've been rethinking that strategy lately, because finishing off a day by losing a fight ain't exactly rosy.

Or bad habits? We all have them.  You ain't got room on that page for all of them, trust me. Sometimes I drink too much, I always fight too much, and I never listen, to name a few.  I make friends too fast, I lose friends too fast, I can be a total pain in the... wait, are you still going to let me stay here?

I know this usually isn't the most pleasant of topics, but where did you come from? What can you remember about your past?  I met my best friend Chad when I was 6 years old. We bonded as soon as we met; well, after I punched him, and we've been best friends ever since. Well, almost, anyway. He pretty much took care of me, while I grew up. My parents were... were murdered when I was 9, and I lived in an orphanage from then until I was 14. Chad and I were thrown out for one little infraction that, just so you know, was completely not my fault, and ended up spending a year traveling all over New York until we finally found a place that would take us in, in Harlem. We... Well, we stopped for a couple years in Harlem. Made a few friends, a whole lot of enemies, and then moved on to here.  Actually, Harlem's where I met Pomp - we sort of picked him up along the way.  Chad's off going to school now, and we're here.

Why did you choose this establishment? I always liked this question.  How did I choose this establishment? Well, the process went like this. I walked down the street, and saw the sign, and paid for a bunk.  Seriously though, it's clean - on my income, that's a luxury I don't get much often.

Know anyone here? Or in the city for that matter? I mean friends of course.  Sure. Chad's my best, of course, but I'm pretty close to Pomp, when he's not trying to cop a feel. I'm sure I'll make more - for me, the trick ain't making friends, it's the keeping 'em part.

What about enemies? Make any along the way yet?  A ton. Let's just not talk about them and hope they disappear, huh?

Any significant other, or possibility of such? Again, it's for the records.  Uh, no. Just, no.

Where might you spend some time when not selling your papes?  In the alleys, cheating people out of their money, probably.  Yeah, I cheat at games, I guess that should've gone under the habits thing, huh? Sometimes I'll go to Tibby's, too, when the selling's hot.  Most of the time, though, I'll be enjoying finer establishments.

Is there anything else you would like to add?  No, no. You haven't kicked me out yet - I know better than to push my luck too far.
