So, what do people call you? Why?  Dusk. I tend to stay out at night and sleep during the day, so it's kind of obvious, isn't it?

 

And your real name?  Joshua Samson. At least, that's what it's been since I moved to this country, and it's worked for me until now.

 

Do you know your birthday? What about age?  November 13, and I just turned eighteen.
 

All right, how about a physical description. It's for the records.  You can't look at me and tell? And who the hell keeps looks for records, anyway? Alright, fine. I'm roughly six feet tall, and I have pale skin, gray eyes, any black hair. I'm pretty lean with a good amount of muscle, and it's not there by accident, either. I tend to wear darker colors, have a cigarette hanging out of my mouth, and while I don't take drugs people seem to look at me and have the impression I'm on opium. No idea why.

 

How would you describe your personality?  I wouldn't. I'm not the most friendly or outgoing of people, I don't make conversation, and I don't do talking. I just don't. I have a few friends from when I was a kid but, for some reason, not too many recent ones. As for the rest? It's all based on your little opinion, isn't it?

 

Have any hobbies? You must enjoy some things in this city.  I do.

 

Or bad habits? We all have them.  I'm sure you do. So do I.
 

I know this usually isn't the most pleasant of topics, but where did you come from? What can you remember about your past?  I'm the son of a rabbi and I moved to this country when I was eight years old. I lost my mother in childbirth and have been living in Hell's Kitchen on and off since I was about thirteen. I'm not a felon and I don't have any diseases, so I think that's all you really need.
 

Why did you choose this establishment? I always liked this question.  My friend was here and it was close.
 

Know anyone here? Or in the city for that matter? I mean friends of course.  Milo, or Satire as he's sometimes called. Known him since before either of us spoke a damn bit of English. Been friends since.

 

What about enemies? Make any along the way yet?  Doesn't everyone?
