The Bluegrass Society of Middle Tennessee
Into The Blue @ Bluegrassradio.com is my very favorite bluegrass music site
on the internet. If you go to only one other site, be sure it's bluegrassradio.com.
There you'll find streaming audio of your favorite artists performing
LIVE. Also, be sure to check out the archives, and vote for your bluegrass
favorites.
The Internet Bluegrass Music
Magazine
For all the news that is the news in the realm of
that which is bluegrass, look to Cybergrass - The Internet
Bluegrass Music Magazine. This is the mother of all bluegrass
websites, sort of a bluegrass ad infinitum if you will,
and either has or has links to almost anything you could ever
want to know about the bluegrass music. She's wired for sound too,
so make sure your speakers are on and turned up.
IBMA - The International Bluegrass Music
Association is the only professional trade organization dedicated to
promoting and expanding the success of bluegrass music. And you can be a
part of it by joining today.

Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine
Bluegrass Unlimited is THE
Bluegrass Music magazine. It was the first-est with the
most-est and it still is today. Created in 1966, Bluegrass
Unlimited Magazine is dedicated to the furtherance of bluegrass and old-time
country musicians, devotees and associates.
About the only thing I like better than listening to bluegrass
music is seeing and hearing it performed live, and my favorite
place to experience the bluegrass music is at The
World Famous Station Inn. Located at 402 12th Avenue South in
Nashville, Tennessee, the Station Inn features live bluegrass
music six nights a week, with Sunday night being a bluegrass
jam session. And there's no telling who you'll bump into on
Sunday nights. The doors open at 7:00 each evening, and the music
generally starts around 9:00pm. Be sure to visit The Station Inn
Web Site for an up-to-date schedule of performances, or call (615)
255-3307.
And now, for something completely different... visit Jeff Wall's little piece of
cyberhell otherwise known as The
Rural Route Twangzine. This bluegrass pickin', part-time philosopher/full-time
defender of the free world puts his own spin on life, liberty and
the pursuit of southern culture. In addition, you'll find tons of CD reviews,
interviews and articles about real American music that doesn't suck. Be sure to check out his
appropriately named Buttload of Links page. And while you're
there, be sure to browse through his various writings.

If
you're an Osborne Brothers fan like I am, be sure to visit their official web
site at www.osbornebros.com
. In addition to their discography and some great history of the brothers
and their band, they have a bunch of photographs of Bobby and Sonny with many of
their friends. And don't miss Sonny's take on things as he tells it like
it is in his personal editorial page.
For a real treat, check out Tut Taylor's website,
appropriately named, Tut
Taylor - the flatpickin' dobro man. There you'll find news
and information about THE Flatpickin' Dobro Man, including
RealAudio samples from his latest release, "Flatpickin' in
the Kitchen," as well as information on how to order that
and other Tut Taylor projects. Be sure to stop by and visit Tut's
site, and don't forget to tell him where you heard about it.
Another excellent bluegrass site is Bo McCarty's Little Cabin Home on the 'Net.
Bo (The BoMan to those who know and love him) is a bluegrass
fanatic, and is about as eat up with it as anybody could ever be.
In addition to playing the amazing bass, he hosts a bluegrass
show on WSIP 98.9 FM over in eastern Kentucky. If and when you're
over in that neck of the woods, be sure to tune him in on Sunday
nights, 8:00pm-midnight. In the meantime, head on over to the
BoMan's website, and tell him I said hey.
