The Nimatullah Sufi order was one of the most famous Sufi orders in medieval Sufi times. The order started from the teachings of Shah Nimatullahi who is believed to be a descendent of the Prophet Muhammad. He was born in Syria, but his order became widespread in Iran and southeast Asia. The site has a rich biography of the Shah and his distinguished order.
