This site is essential in understanding Sufism. Our group called it the Bible of Sufism. The site is developed by Dr. Alan Godlas from the University of Georgia. The site starts off by explaining Sufism and its role in Islam. It has a section which has brief biographies of selected Sufis. It also has a section which provides brief information on many of Sufi orders which existed in medieval times.

The site is developed by the Quran and Sunnah Society which is based in Detroit. This organization provides the most credible and honest information on most of Islamic topics. The site has many sections with detailed information about Sufism, its definition, origins, fundamentals, strutcture of orders, and its many other aspects.

Sufism has a different meaning for many people. This site is another section of Dr. Godlas's site. Our group found it interesting because it gives the perception of Sufism from five honorable Sufis. This perception of Sufis is cited from Shaykh 'Abd al- Halim Mahmud's book the Fatwa. The Shaykh did not issue fatwas (charges of heresy) on any of the Sufis but described their opinion of Sufism.

This is one of the most interesting sites that we have found. It is developed by Jews who converted to Islam. Visit Jews For Allah to learn more about them. Their section of Sufism contains ten sections. The first section is an introduction to Sufism. This section has the best definition of Sufism. Others sub-sections include detail biographies of distinguished Sufis and orders.
