Midsomer's 50th Episode! The Midsomer Worthy choir, including Joyce Barnaby, are in fear for their lives when baritone Connor Simpson is killed days before a competition. Barnaby and Jones investigate in an atmosphere of bitter rivalry and tense marital relationships. Then birdwatcher Sam Judd is shot dead. What is the link between the dead men and can the detectives find the killer before the choral showdown?
