She has also starred in the TV drama 'A Fatal Inverison' as Meg Chipstead, and alongside John Nettles' Sanier as Gertrude in 'All Men are Mortal'.
She has made many guest appearances in popular drama shows, including 'Dangerfield', 'Lovejoy', 'A Touch of Frost' 'Maigret' and 'Between the Lines' also comedy programmes such as 'Drop the Dead Donkey' and 'The Peter Principle'.
Jane took a BA Hons in Drama and Theatre Arts at Birmingham University from 1970-73,
and has starred in many Theatre Productions, including 'Hamlet', 'Twelth Night' and 'Taming of the Shrew' .
She is currently playing Joyce Barnaby in the sucessful drama series'Midsomer Murders'...
