Pringle falls out with stoical DCI Barnaby over the murder of a tramp.
Before being put out to grass the Superintendent arrested a local man for the crime and see's that as the end of it...but Barnaby disagrees...
That, and an apparent suicide in a wood used by the local hunt, both need looking into a little more deeply according to him...
