        Adding Background Pictures
===========================================

If you select [Background Picture]-[Auto], Juke Player will switch
background graphics in accord with the settings of the auto_key.ini
file.
By registering keywords in auto_key.ini, you can get images that are
better suited to the mood of the lyrics to be displayed.
Common keywords are already programmed in auto_key.ini, but you can
freely add your own. By adding your own keywords and suitable graphic
files, you can make your karaoke experience even more enjoyable.

  [Note]
  Before you edit auto_key.ini, we recommend that you make a copy of
  the auto_key.ini file as a precaution.

1. Preparing an image file

The folder in which Juke Player is installed (normally this will be
C:\Program Files\Roland\JukePlay) contains a folder named "bitmaps."
Inside this folder, create a folder with the same name as a keyword,
and place image files in the folder. For example, in a folder named
"winter," you would place background image files that bring winter to
mind.

  Windows Bitmap (BMP) is the only image file format that can be used.
  Moreover, if your computer display is set to use 256 colors, you
  will also need to use image files of 256 colors or less.

  As the file size increases, more time will be required to load the
  image, meaning that images may not be switched smoothly.

2. Editing auto_key.ini

(example listing)
winter=winter
sea=sea
winsea=winter sea
night=night
night=evening

Write the folder name, then an equals "=" mark, and then the keyword.

Juke Player will count the occurrences of each keyword that appears in
the lyrics, and will display images from the folder for the most
frequently appearing keyword.

There are two ways in which you can specify multiple keywords for a
single folder.

  - List keywords separated by spaces (maximum of two)
  - Use a new line for each pair of folder name and keyword (no
    particular restriction)

The results of these two methods will differ as follows:

* Depending on whether "winter" or "sea" appears more frequently, the
  [winter] folder or the [sea] folder will be selected. Only if
  "winter" and "sea" appear in equal numbers will the [winsea] folder
  be selected.

* If either "night" or "evening" is the most frequently found keyword,
  the [night] folder will be selected.

If none of the keywords are found, the [auto] folder will be selected.

  In the case of SMF data which contains no lyrics, the song name
  (sequence name, track name, or file name) will be searched for
  keywords in order to select a background image file.
