Section A: Preliminaries

1) The titles of ‘author,’ ‘director’ ‘writer,' 'Midrash-Creed’ and 'Raymond Creed' are used interchangeably in this document, on this web site and in any external literature, which has been produced. They refer to the same person whose real name has been withheld for reasons of confidentiality.

2) Unless otherwise stated, the terms ‘information’ ‘literature’ ‘resources’ and ‘material’ are used interchangeably both in this document and on the web site as a whole. They refer to the body of information listed or otherwise mentioned on the Literature List. Also referred to is any material published externally by the author.

3) The words ‘employ’ or ‘use’ in the context of ‘employing’ or ‘using’ 'YES-NOW Publication's' material refers to such activities as the downloading, replication, retrieval, publication, storing and distribution of all or some of the literature on this web site.

4) A ‘user’ is any individual, group or organisation who engages in such activities as the downloading, replication, retrieval, publication, storing and distribution of all or some of the literature on this web site.

5) ‘Users’ are distinguished from ‘visitors’ who only refer to this web site for reasons of casual reading and/or private study.  They are not engaged in any of the activities of a user. The term ‘visitor’ is used interchangeably with ‘reader.’

6)  'General Terms' refers to broad guidelines applying to the whole of 'YES-NOW Publications' (henceforth known as Y.N.Ps) whilst the word 'conditions' refers to any specific regulations guiding individual areas of activity.

7) Unless otherwise stated, all quotations from scripture are (for copyright reasons) taken from the King James Bible. In some instances, there has been a minor updating of wording in order to ensure greater clarity. Some amplification and paraphrasing may be present in order to bring out salient points. Any amplification is shown by italicised square brackets [ ], whilst any paraphrasing is denoted by three consecutive dots (...). Readers are expected to check up relevant passages should they doubt its meaning or be unsure of its context. Crudens Strong's and Young's concordances were regularly consulted during the production of literature for this website.

8) To facilitate reference and save web space, all files have been placed in PDF format unless they consist of promotional material containing useful links.

Section B: General terms

1) The Director of Y.N.Ps does not issue appeals for money as he's believes that such appeals can be a source of considerable annoyance to users. He's of the firm view that finance for this web site should be met  through either 'tent making' (Acts 18:3) or direct provision from the Almighty, (Matthew 7:19f). He will not disclose personal details in order to obtain funding and any promise of large donations made through the internet will be viewed with suspicion. Such donations would be better directed towards the relief of world poverty and/or the propagation of the Gospel.

2) The director will not treat with any party requesting up-front fees for alleged administrative, banking, editing, and marketing or production costs. Any party making such a request will be viewed with unqualified suspicion.

3) All users are expected to use their own discernment when consulting or otherwise employing the literature on this web site. The author can under no circumstances be held financially, legally or morally responsible for any form of negative outcome even among casual visitors and readers.

4) All visitors to this web site are welcome to read all or some of the material on this site before deciding whether to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this disclaimer.

5) Unless otherwise stated, all material on this site is under the legal copyright of the Director of Y.N.Ps who is either the author or the editor of all non-quoted and non-cited material on this web site. Such material has also been placed under the copyright of his real name.

6) No legal alteration to any of contents or wording of material on this web site may occur without the writer’s prior and documented consent.

7) No permission is given to any party to mix or combine literature from this web site with material of either a heretical, pornographic, violent and/or occult nature. Those who engage in such activities are acting against the express wishes of the author and are in serious breach of copyright law. They are liable to incur severe legal penalties as a result.

8) The names of ‘Midrash-Creed’, 'Raymond Creed' and ‘YES-NOW Publications’ in either their full forms or the abbreviated form of ‘Y.N.Ps’ are also under the copyright of the author and should not be adopted by any other party without his documented authorisation.  Various forms of action may be taken against those in breach of this condition.

9) Readers and users of this web site are not required to sign up to or adhere to any of the doctrinal statements made on it, as the author regards them as being best left to individual conscience to either accept or not accept. However, readers and users are expected to refrain from ridiculing or misrepresenting those statements. (Polite and reasoned criticism is acceptable because the author believes that such criticism could sharpen up his own faith.)

10) Readers and users of this web site are not required to belong to any church, fellowship or any other form of religious organisation. The writer accepts that in this period of mass apostasy, people may have found themselves to be in an isolated position through no fault of their own.

11) The Director of Y.N.Ps is unable to accept: -

a)        Any request to undertake research or provide information unless it’s immediately available from his web site

b)        Unsolicited material for review editing or publication purposes no matter how excellent or poor its content and presentation. (If the Director wishes to use material by other authors he will contact the parties concerned.)

Section D: Conditions applying to the use of link lists and other information sources

1) The Link List web sites have been selected for their ability to provide useful, factual information and the Director of Y.N.Ps regularly visits them for that purpose. But this does not mean that he necessarily endorses, recommends, sympathises or agrees with the authors of those websites in relation to: -

a) Their privately or publicly expressed doctrinal, political and personal views

b) The manner in which their views are expressed

c) The design, structure and layout of their websites

This condition also applies to any other electronic and non-electronic source of information listed in the bibliographies or mentioned elsewhere on this site.

2) Anyone using Link List web sites does so at their own risk. The Director can under no circumstances be held financially, legally and morally responsible for any form of negative outcome from visiting those sites. Personal discernment must be exercised at all times and complaints made directly to the web sites concerned. Any complaints made to the Director about Link List web sites, are unlikely to receive a response unless expressed in a clear, factual and reasonable manner.

a) Their content

b) Their style

c) Any public or privately expressed views emanating from them

7) All readers are expected to use their own discernment when consulting or otherwise employing the sources listed in the bibliographies or used elsewhere on this site. Please also note that: -

b)  Neither the quotation nor citation of a source in this work should be taken as a recommendation of its quality unless the director’s previous comments strongly suggest otherwise

Section E: Conditions applying when contacting the Director

1) Those contacting the Director must make allowance for the fact that he runs this site on a voluntary, part-time basis. It does not represent any form of full-time employment or ministry. The Director does have other important professional commitments to fulfil.

2) Although the Director of Y.N.Ps welcomes any clearly expressed and substantiated criticism, he reserves the right not to enter into correspondence about the contents, design and presentation of material on this web site – particularly if he’s under severe domestic or professional pressure.

3) Enquirers are to understand that Y.N.Ps follows a strict policy of trying to discourage the sending and receiving of unnecessary or time-consuming e. mails, which do nothing to further its aims.

4) In obedience to 2 John 10-11, the author reserves the right to avoid engaging in correspondence with those militantly committed to propagating any kind of: -

a) False teaching

b) Bogus revelation

c) Immoral or fraudulent behaviour

d) Dubious spiritual practice

e) Hostile action against those who follow Jesus

5) An identical policy is followed toward those whose correspondence is: -

a) Abusive, incoherent or vague

b) Presented in a non-English language

c) Prone to making groundless accusations either against the Director or third parties

      d) Incites violence toward the Director or any third party

e) Shows other signs of either mental disorder or malicious intention

c) Any correspondence in serious contention against any of the terms and conditions of this disclaimer

d) Any correspondence demanding why this particular site has been placed in certain directories or appears to be associated with ministries the correspondent may dislike.

e) Any correspondence making groundless accusations against the Director or his web site (the Director doesn't have the time to engage in endless rebuttals against those who are unlikely to be convinced by them)

f) Any correspondence reporting  groundless accusations made by a third party against the Director or his web site (this is particularly the case if the party concerned has a record of making such accusations)

g) Any criticism of the author's use of satirical humour (which he realises that people either appreciate or don't appreciate for personal reasons)

h) Any request for pastoral help or prayer support (the author having no gift in pastoral care)

k) Any request to comment upon  either the conduct or doctrinal stance of third parties  who are not mentioned on this site

l) Any request to mediate in disputes between third parties

m) Any request to fill in questionnaires or provide information about third parties

n) Any request to post small or large amounts of material made in connection with this site (The author is not a distributor and in the unlikely event of him agreeing to such a request he would  impose a large charge on the copying and posting of even small amounts of material. The precise amount would be decided by negotiation.)

o) Any request to undertake time consuming research

p) Any request to review edit or publish unsolicited material

q) Any request to comment upon inflammatory political, religious and Church issues not covered by this web site

r) Any request to put people in contact with Churches, Fellowships or prospective marriage partners!

s) Any threat of legal action by either lawyers or any other third party

7) Correspondents engaging in the forms of behaviour listed in the previous three conditions will not be given any encouragement. In the vast majority of cases they shall be ignored. However, particularly troublesome correspondents are at risk of having their details recorded on the Directors Actively Avoid file. These may be passed on to appropriate third parties if deemed necessary. The same also applies to those parties who are in serious breach of any of the other terms and conditions in this disclaimer.

8) Readers and users of this web site are requested to destroy any material put forward in the name of ‘Midrash-Creed’ or ‘YES-NOW Publications’ if it contains any one of the negative characteristics listed in conditions D3-5, (see above). The Director is not in the business of: -

 a)        Asking for money or requesting personal or financial details

 b)        Endorsing commercial products

 c)         Recommending other electronic or non-electronic ministries and churches

 d)         Inciting harm to be done to the person and/or property of others

 e)         Peddling heretical, pornographic, violent and/or occult material

  f)       Sending questionnaires asking people to disclose personal or financial information - or their views on contentious issues

He would be grateful if the recipients of such material took care to inform the Director - particularly if they occur on a regular basis. Various forms of action may be taken against the authors of such material.

9) Correspondence abusing, slandering or in any other way threatening third parties may, at the Director’s discretion, be forwarded to: -

a) Those third parties

b) Relevant legal and government agencies (particularly if the Director judges that there could be a threat to human life and/or property)

The same condition also applies if the material of a third party has been plagiarised, i.e. used without clear acknowledgement of the source.

10) Its not the policy of Y.N.Ps to publish accusations made by one party against another unless they are already firmly established in the public domain and involve matters of exceptional gravity. As far as possible, the Director tries to avoid being dragged into feuds between parties he has no direct connection with.

11) The Director will not: -

     a) Disclose his name or any other personal details

     b) Respond to any true or false speculation concerning his identity

12) The Director will not open attachments unless he personally knows the party concerned.

13) The author reserves the right to show to his wife all e. mails written by women even when confidentially have been requested.

14) Correspondents must not address the author by any honorific title such as ‘Apostle,’ ‘Prophet,’ ‘Teacher,’ ‘Pastor’ ‘Rabbi’ or ‘Reverend’ as he is not an ordained minister of religion and would find them personally offensive, if employed in connection with himself. Please use the words ‘Director,’ ‘Midrash-Creed’, 'Raymond Creed' or ‘YES-NOW Publications’ instead.

15) Time pressures caused by domestic and professional commitments means that the Director of Y.N.Ps can only respond to mail of a constructive, polite and reasonable nature. He does however strongly welcome: -

      a) Fair and justified criticism  (he is willing to amend his work on the basis of such criticism)

b) Messages of encouragement and support

c) Relevant and useful information so long as it's not in the form of an attachment

Throughout all his Publications, the author has assumed that a clear presentation of truth provides one of the best remedies for the many deceptions pervading an increasingly faithless Church.

Section F: Conditions relating to the use of names and the respect of privacy

1) For ethical and pragmatic reasons, it's not the policy of the Director to disclose on the internet the names of either private individuals or corporate bodies (such as churches and religious communities) who either he or other parties connected to this site have been in private correspondence with unless they have: -

    a) Provided written permission (a sound state of mind, will be assumed if such permission is granted)

    b) Publicly defamed or held up to ridicule either this ministry and/or its Director

    c) Issued legal or non-legal threats towards either the Director or a third party

2) However, Y.N.Ps does reserve the right to name those individual and corporate bodies should they: -

    a) Have already attracted media attention

    b) Placed material in the public domain through either electronic or non-electronic means of publication.

The above stance also applies to those holding a senior public position such as 'bishop' or 'archbishop'

3) The confidentiality of private information sources will be respected. Unless written permission is granted neither their names nor other personal details will be disclosed in: -

   a) Any bibliography

   b) Elsewhere on his web site

   c) Elsewhere on the internet

However, if permission to use their name or disclose other details is granted, the Director will assume that the party concerned was in a sound state of mind when they did this. He strongly disclaims responsibility for any negative consequences arising from such a disclosure. Such permission is granted at the risk of the party concerned.

Section G: Conditions relating to the use of humour in relation to error

1) Readers are requested not to look up pieces employing satirical humour if they are unlikely to find them helpful. A satirical approach has in places been adopted because the author believes that it's part of his ministry to 'discomfit the comfortable.'  In application of 1 Kings 18:27-29 and Isaiah 5:22 he will use satire when he believes that it's appropriate to do so. The author however fully acknowledges that humour is a highly subjective area and material may amuse one person another may needlessly offend another. This explains why all literature employing satire is clearly marked by the symbol 'S.'

2) With regard to humour, the author takes the view that 'why shouldn't Christians have a few laughs on the way to the apocalypse?' Life is miserable enough without being unnecessarily gloomy or 'religious' about it. He recognises that in many of his parables Jesus employed humour to deflate human pretensions and expose the absurdity of religious hypocrisy.

3) The employment of humour in relation to error does not mean that the author has failed to appreciate that error can have serious consequences on the lives of individual people and groups.

4) Y.N.Ps is of the firm view that it's possible for Christians to learn helpful lessons from the many errors prevailing in this age of mass apostasy. This assumption accounts for the insertion of study questions in some of the literature dealing with various forms of error. The author hopes to use some of the deceptions of his time as a means to teach people the truth and show them how easy it is for even well meaning Christians to go astray. His intention is to use error in order to accomplish a positive purpose in the lives of those who believe in Jesus.

5) Third parties are most welcome to study (on either an individual or group basis) any of the material on this web site so long as they notify the author and observe the terms and conditions of this disclaimer. Much of the literature produced by Y.N.Ps is designed to provoke individual and group reflection.

6) Third parties are also welcome to use any liturgical material for either individual or group worship so long as they notify the author and observe the terms and conditions of this disclaimer. This condition also applies to any poetical or devotional material, which has been inserted elsewhere on this site.

Section H: What next?

1) It will be assumed that those who download, replicate, retrieve, publish, store distribute or use in any other way all or some of the material employed on this web site have fully understood that they have entered into a formal contractual agreement to follow all the terms and conditions set out in this disclaimer.

2) The terms and conditions of this document may at any time be amended and altered at the Director’s discretion. It’s up to regular users of this site to re-check them and log the date they were last updated.

3) If you wish to know why there have been so many terms and conditions in this disclaimer, please refer to the answers given to questions fifteen and sixteen in the overview.

4) If you wish to know more about Y.N.Ps and the beliefs of the Director before accepting these terms and conditions please visit ‘What Is YES-NOW Publications?’

5) If you are unwilling and/or unable to follow all of the above listed terms and conditions, please do not contact the Director or employ his material for any purpose other than private reading and study.

6) If you are willing and able to follow all of the above listed terms and conditions, you are most welcome to visit the rest of the site and benefit from its services. Please return to the Literature List by clicking ‘I accept.'

Section I: Miscellaneous details

1) This site was first opened for review on Wednesday, 9th April 2003 - the day Saddam Hussein's statue was toppled in Baghdad, following the Anglo-American invasion of Iraq.  To facilitate ease of use, it has deliberately adopted a simple 'no frills' approach in its design.  Annoying visual representations have been excluded.

2) The name ‘YES-NOW Publications’ first floated into the authors mind during a bus journey back to his hometown on the evening of Saturday 13th December 2003 - the day before the announcement of Saddam Hussein's capture by American troops in Northern Iraq. Three days later on Tuesday 16th December 2003, it replaced the former name of ‘Punch-ball Publications,’ which had been adopted in 1998. Please note that a few directories may still use this former name. All terms and conditions in this disclaimer apply to this site when it was operating under this former name.

Thank you for taking the trouble and effort to read this document. The Director hopes that he has not presumed too much on your patience. If he has, he apologises! However, he hopes that through providing a thorough exploration of certain points he has prevented users from wasting their time by making unnecessary enquiries. At least they will know where they stand in relation to Y.N.Ps and the services it offers.
