| James W. Caldwell Sergeant Major James W. Caldwell is a native of Astor, Florida. He entered military service on 19 November 1979. He attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia. Sergeant Major Caldwell has served as a Squad Leader, Operation Sergeant, First Sergeant, Directorate of Logistics Sergeant Major, United States Army Office of Military Support, Operations Sergeant Major of the 917th Corps Support Group, U.S. Army Reserve, Command Sergeant Major of the United States Army Support Element Taszar, and currently serves as the Emergency Operations Center Sergeant Major, 21st Theater Support Command. Sergeant Major Caldwell�s Assignments include the White House Communications Agency, Washington, D.C.; The United States Army Office of Military Support, Washington, D.C.; The 917th Corps Support Group, Kansas City, Missouri, The United States Army Support Element, Taszar, Hungary; and the 21st Theater Support Command, Kaiserslautern, Germany. Sergeant Major Caldwell is a graduate of The Primary Leadership Development Course, Airborne School, Jumpmaster School, The Quartermaster Advanced Noncommissioned Officers Course, Battle Staff Course, First Sergeants Course, and the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy, Class 50. He currently holds an Associate in Applied Science Administration/Management Degree from Regents College. Sergeant Major Caldwell�s awards include: The Defense Meritorious Service Medal with oak leaf cluster, Meritorious Service Medal with oak leaf cluster, Joint Service Commendation medal, Army Commendation Medal with third oak leaf cluster, Joint Service Achievement medal, Army Achievement Medal with oak leaf cluster, Good Conduct Medal 7th award, Armed Forces Service Medal, NATO Medal, Presidential Service Badge # 6906, and the Parachutist Badge. Sergeant Major Caldwell resides in Mehlingen, Germany. He has four children, sons, Jimmy, Michael, Christopher, and daughter Heather who reside with their mother in Dale City, Virginia. |
