| The Blue hole is about six hours from Denver. It 's water temp stays at 65 degrees year round. It is a spring feed lake. It's max depth we have seen is 88 feet . It is about 60 feet in dia. at the surface and around 100 feet dai. at the bottom. Visiblity was from 60 feet to the worst we saw was around 40 feet. There are some fish to see they are those large gold fish and some carp. We saw a perch the last trip and lots of crawldads the last trip. Excelent night dive. It has some stairs to get down into to the water. This is a good close place to go from here in the winter months. Also a good place to futher your dive expereance as most of the dive shops use it for training. |
