Love of Dance
Dance has played such an important role in my life.

I was about 11 yrs old when I discovered the funny dance called the 'Twist'
My family moved to Washington DC in the early 60's and it was then I discovered, much to my surprise, my natural talent of dancing.
Some African American families had a dance party
for the students of my elementary school.

They all said 'I had the rythum'.

Years later, after much formal training,
I was hired to teach at the
Authur Murray Dance Studio in Harrisburg Pa
and discoverd the joy of dance in the formal Ballroom style.
As a Private and Group Dance Instructor ( average of 30 students in one class),
it became my 'drug of choice', dancing at a different club often 6 nights a week.

I have had many dance partners starting with my dear sister Robin
who died from cancer when only 28...She was my favorite,
performing moves I have yet to duplicate with anyone.

I no longer teach...but the joy flows from my feet and heart every day.

My favorite dances included the Foxtrot, Rumba, Hustle, Waltz, Cha Cha, Polka, Swing, Rock n Roll Jitterbug, Salsa, Country 2 Step.
Even taught the young kids to Moonwalk, Pop n Lock and Freestyle.
