| At 26, My husband was in and out of jobs, he never really seemed to want to get a job and work to at least support the 2 babies we had. There were many times that I did not have diapers and formula for the babies, I finally had enough of him not working and I went and found a job, I got a job working at Holiday Inn, doing housekeeping, I was good at my job and my boss really liked my work so after being there 5 months, they promoted me to head housekeeper, I had 6 girls that I was in charge of and had to make sure the rooms were cleaned right after they got done cleaning them. When I got home from work, I was tired and wanted to sit and relaxe for awhile, But, I was unable to do that, I had to make dinner, wash clothes, clean the house and bathe the babies. He did nothing all day while I was at work. When payday came and I got my check , I thought that maybe I could start hiding some money and save up so that I could leave him, But, that idea failed, as soon as I got home he made me sigh my check, took me to the bank, cashed my check and he took all the money, I never seen a penny of the money I made from working, he would not even give me money for lunch when I was at work, and if the car needed gas, he would take the car and put gas in it, he would not let me have any money at all. | |||||||||||||||
