Background: Pluug
is a an orc chief of great power and a capable commander in Turrosh Mak's
army, distinguishing himself in the early campaign against the Ulek states.
He is very cunning and wise (for an orc) and uses this to good advantage.
While he tries to intimidate anyone he meets, Pluug is usually more bark
than bite, and never provokes a fight unless he is certain that he can win.
Pluug partially gained his current high position because of his wild talents
as a psionicist. He does not know the origin of his powers exactly, but
keeps them a closely-guarded secret. Prudent use of his powers usuallly keep
him one step ahead of his opponents. He is currently happy with his
position, and knows more power would probably mean his downfall. He keeps
his expert troops well trained, and will try to avoid a situation where he
has to commit his troops against specialist, and if ordered will send his
troops only reluctantly. He owns a crude shield with a jagged flame painted
upon it, which is actually a shield +3, and his battle-Axe, Dwarfbiter,
is +2, but does double damage (2d8+4) versus dwarves.
