Blacklight reactive and glow-in-the-dark. These wands are perfect for those who like to play with special effects during rituals, make great gifts for the Pagan Who Has Everything, and are even fascinating on their own.
All Blacklight Wands are made with a uranium glass marble at the "head" end of the wand, blacklight reactive beads at the "tail" end (or another marble for $1 extra), and are decorated with a variety of blacklight reactive paints, clays, and stencils.
I've separated the wands into colors. Just choose your color (or pick the "multi") and in the "comments" or "special instructions" field of the checkout process, give me a brief description of what you want it to look like. Some descriptions include: stripes, swirls, stars, spirals, smooth, rope-like, mottled, etc.
A note about the uranium glass marbles. Uranium has been added to the glass to make the marbles a light green color. Because of this, they glow neon green under a blacklight. Yes, they are radioactive. HOWEVER! They are not dangerous. Each marble puts out about 250 CPM (at .04 mR/Hr depending on counter and probe type). Basically, this is about the same amount of radiation the human body puts out. So you'd be in more danger in a theater. And that's not counting background radiation and radiation from electronics.
