Fight for your rights, because if you don't, who will?
I don't know what this picture is, but it was under education.
Roe vs. Wade
Gay and Lesbian Rights
We are in danger of losing our rights.  I believe that currently Roe vs Wade stands by ONLY ONE VOTE.  This means that under Bush's rule, we are very, very close to losing our right to make our own decisions regarding our bodies.

When you think of letters to politicians, you probably think of a lot of trouble.  Did you know that there are systems online that do all the work for you?  All you have to do is read about the issue, and basically enter your name and address and letters are sent automatically via e-mail or fax.

On these sites you can also find petitions which you can circulate in your city or on your campus.  You can find posters to post, you can order stickers to stick all over the world to help raise awareness.

Every letter makes a difference, every donation makes a difference, every petition signed makes a difference.  Please visit the sites below and take action.

Also, why not link to these sites on your own webpages to help spread the word?

Right now I am watching the Town Hall meeting about homosexuality hosted by Ted Koppel.  I honestly cannot believe that in 2002, people are still this ignorant.

When we as citizens of the 21st century look back at how people were treated based on race only, we are disgusted at how completely stupid the logic was that told us we could OWN people and chain them up. Once upon a time we thought black people were animals, just like we think gay people are perverts and pedophiles.

I hope that our children will look back and be disgusted at how we treat them now.

Please visit the sites below to learn more and to take action.  It is so important that we treat EVERY SINGLE HUMAN with dignity, regardless of sexual preferences.  Let's work to wipe out the ignorance.
