Fallen Angels - Chapter 5: A gift for Kimiko.
by Akane
"I'm crazy for him, you know. I can't really say I love him, I don't remember how it feels. It's been so long since I last loved... But there's something strange in my mind, like a new sensation. Besides it seems... I don't know. Maybe I'm changing. I don't understand. Sometimes I feel uneasy with him. Can you imagine that? Me, turning to a shy teenager? In front of that kid? No, I shouldn't say that. He's not a kid anymore."
"Really? And what did you do for that?"
"Kimiko! What are you thinking? I didn't-"
"No sense of humor..."
Kimiko moved forward to place a light kiss on Gael's lips. He had always enjoyed her company and she had become a confidante and accomplice. And now that he was struggling to find the words to express his feelings for Jon and to try to understand them, she was there to amiably listen to him. But he knew she was also Jon's love, and Gael had to fight against his desire for her. Her ambiguous behavior with him didn't help much. She didn't love Jon, seeing the boy more as a little brother, though she didn't refuse having sex with him. Actually she wanted to protect him and give him comfort and tenderness. Well, after all he has been brought there for her!
Alice, one of Kimiko's vampire friends, brought Jon to her one night, knowing her weakness for Asian boys. It was what saved him from the fate of his parents. Alice had managed to persuade a friend to hunt with her one night. "Let's eat chinese tonight" she told him. They never hunted innocent people, and never in dwellings. But she was angry and jealous that night, enough to kill the whole town. They had managed to break a window without making too much noise. They had easily entered the room and slaughtered the sleeping couple there when Alice heard a noise coming from another room. She was determined to kill whoever it was, even a child, which would have disgusted her any other time. But she had temporarily lost her mind.
And then she saw him, terrorized young god, his dark innocent eyes widened with fear, knowing his death was close. The boy was standing in the corridor, staring at her in wonder. Alice was amazed by this sight. She hadn't expected this, and she had calmed a little, the warm blood she had just stolen acting like a drug on her. She came close to the boy and examined him. "You're so cute. She'll like you. Yes, I know her liking, she'll like you." He was shocked so he didn't understand what she was talking about. "Let's go, we take him with us." "What? You must kill him, he saw us. And I don't think he can live with the memory of what he saw tonight." She looked at her disaproving friend and spoke coldly. "I said we take him with us."
Back home she took the boy to the saloon styled little house near the main building of Kimiko's home. That was a warm wooden place where the girl and her friends used to meet. When Kimiko arrived, the boy was curled up under the wooden stairs, still shocked, hiding his head in his arms, sobbing. He felt lost.
"Kimiko, I've got a present for you!" Alice announced happily.
She told her the whole events of the night. Kimiko frowned when she heard about the slaughter but didn't dare arguing. She wanted her friend to turn back to her usual good mood so she remained silent. They came near the boy but he didn't move. But Alice was impatient to display her gift.
"Hey! Show her your face! You'd be dead if it weren't for her!"
"Can't you see he's terrified? Let him."
Coming closer, Kimiko kneeled in front of the boy. But he still didn't react.
"You really don't want to show me your face? Right, I can't force you. At least, tell me your name."
More sobbing answered her. She felt sorry for him.
"I'm not going to hurt you, you know. Please, what's your name?"
She waited some more but he was still mute. She left him, then, disappointed but understanding his silence.
"We should let him rest. Maybe tomorrow-"
"...Jon..."
Kimiko turned back to where the voice came from.
"My name is Jonathan."
He raised his head from his arms, his eyes reddened by his tears. But he was still handsome, almost beautiful. He looked so young, so fragile. Kimiko felt sad at heart.
"Alice, what have you done?"
"I... I thought you would like him. Don't you think he's cute?"
"Of course! But I also think he's lost!"
"You want me to kill him?"
"Are you mad?!"
"Look at him, he looks like some kind of god..."
Kimiko looked at him for a while then smiled.
"I'll say *angel*. It fits better. Well, little angel, I think a new life is beginning for you. I'll take care of you, now"
Seven months had passed and the angel was still there. The boy feared and hated vampires, so Dash had taken Jon with him, though he hosted Gael too and he was afraid that the boy wouldn't enjoy the idea of sharing the house with that creature. Strangely, Gael's nature didn't seem to bother him that much. In fact, the boy was so busy escaping from the pervert side of the man that he almost forgot his vampire side. And he hated him.
Gael's feelings were on the opposite. He liked the boy, and his body often reminded him that he desired him too. He had found a game by chasing him all over the house. And as the boy never went farther than the garden, it would have been easy to catch him and make him his sex slave if Dash wasn't miraculously there to "save" him before it's too late. Still Gael tried so often...
And then summer came, and their life changed. Kimiko and her friends took them to the sea for holidays. Her house there was rather big, but not enough to allow everyone to be in a single room. And Gael and Jon had to share the same room. Jon, then, felt reassured when Dash was assigned to their room, too... till Gael decided they had to share the bed and let the camp bed to the wizard. None of them paid attention to the fact that the boy didn't protest, this time. Then Gael took him one day to a bronzing session on a hidden little beach on a nearby island, arguing that Kimiko would surely like to see the boy's cute little ass well tanned. And he followed him. And of course he got sunburnt on an inconvenient part of his body. As the boy was too ashamed to ask someone else, having to explain how he was burnt and knowing that the girls would ask him to show them this little disaster, he borrowed Gael's after sun lotion, more or less forced to accept the condition: let the vampire apply it. Jon argued but Gael was strong enough to reduce him to silence.
The fight didn't last long, Jon having forgotten his shame and the unpleasant touch of Gael's hands with the relief the cool lotion procured him. The vampire was enjoying the situation: he had managed to drop Jon on the bed and wedged him flat on his belly. He practically tore away his swimsuit, which made the boy yelp, and slowly rubbed his too sensitive buttocks with his lotion coated hand. Different feelings were mixing in his mind: the satisfaction of having managed to put Jon at his mercy, first. The fun of this little battle he had won, too. And of course the erotic aspect of what was turning to a sensual massage. Moreover it was the first time that Jon had really let Gael touch him. And in such a place! When he heard the boy moan he knew that something had really changed between them: he had gained the boy's confidence.
What proved that the Jon's feelings for him were changing happened two days after. At the end of the hot summer afternoon Gael came in the bedroom as Jon was coming out of the bathroom, his hair still damp from the shower he had just taken. He only wore a towel wrapped around his waist, pure white on his tanned skin. Gael felt his heart jump in his throat and Jon blushed.
"As long as this is OUR room, you should knock before you rush in! Nobody ever told you that?"
"You're so cute, darling..."
Before the boy could realize what was happening he found himself lying his back on the bed, Gael standing above him, his features both desire and sadness. Sadness? Jon didn't know this guy could be sad. Then he felt strong but tender arms wrapping around his body and Gael's warm breath in his neck.
"Please, don't reject me this time. I just want to hold you. I need... someone's... tenderness."
Jon was stunned. Was it really a sign of humanity that this guy was showing? Unbelievable... And then, instead of pushing him back or yelling at him, without even understanding what he was doing and why he was doing that, the boy wrapped his arms around him. They were both suddenly silent. A strange and sudden serenity filled his mind. They stood like that for a while, then Gael loosened his grip and whispered a soft "thank you" to the boy who was still trying to understand why he was feeling so good. Till this day he totally changed his behavior with the vampire. He woke up one morning in Gael's arms and cursed him for this. But the next day it was the vampire he found in his arms when he opened his eyes, and apologized before amused Dash and Gael. Sweet little details that only Kimiko noticed followed untill autumn came. Untill they both realized they had become real friends. Untill they realized they had become more than just friends.
Gael completed the change in Jon's behavior when he took him one evening to a luxury hotel, taking advantage of the fact that the boy was envying Adonis for staying in such a place. It was strange for him, but he never thought of taking physical advantage of the situation. He took a suite, ordered a fine dinner and amazed Jon with his kindness. They talked for hours, sharing old memories of Gael's mortal life and Jon's childhood. When they were too tired to go on chating Gael improvised a bed on the sofa and offered Jon the bedroom. Only a few minutes later the boy was standing in front of him, shyly asking him to come sleep with him. The vampire blinked, surprised and followed unhesitatingly.
Jon nestled against his newly found friend and fell asleep. Gael was wondering if all this was true or if it was just a dream. For the first time they were really alone together. They were sharing the same room, the same bed. Together, at last. And Jon was trusting him, quiet in him arms, vulnerable. He could have done anything he wanted to him right now. But the look of utter trust and peace on the boy's face was priceless. Gael couldn't loose all he had gained with him for just a few minutes of pleasure. They were about to leave in the morning when Jon came up to Gael, looking him straight in the eyes, blushing, and kissed his lips lightly. The vampire was almost too astonished to hear the boy thank him. They went home and started a new life together.
