Fallen Angels - Chapter 2: Memories.

Gael was about to catch the prey he was following for a whole hour when another predator appeared from nowhere, stealing the mortal from the furious vampire. Gael was beside the black haired being in no time and grabbed him, forcing him to turn to face him. What he saw amazed him. Under the light dirt that covered it, a beautiful face was imploring him. Long deep-blue eyes were reflecting pain and fear. The black locks that fell on this face, long on its right side and strangely much shorter on its left side, were tangled but seemed silky. Gael felt his anger slowly leaving him.
"It's mine! I have been chasing him for an hour!"
The other vampire looked at him with the same imploring eyes. A soft, half broken voice escaped from his lips.
"I'm starving."
Gael hesitated one second. Then he bit the now unaware mortal's neck, beginning to feed. The starving vampire yelped.
"No, please! Have mercy! Let me drink..."
"Sssh! Wait, I'll give you something that will be better for you."
Gael went on his feast before the poor other vampire's eyes. When it was all over he turned at him and gave him his throat. The weak creature looked at him questioning.
"Drink! It's stronger. You'll feel completely healed, after."
He went closer to the younger vampire who shyly moved forward.Sharp fangs plunged in the offered throat, hungry mouth sucking on the healing fluid. Gael was stroking the long black hair, wondering how it could still seem like silk being in such a poor way. He was enjoying the delightful sensation of the bite, mouth half-open.
The young vampire was amazed by the power of that blood. He had never drunk from another of their race before. It was heady. Then he withdrew from the wounded flesh and remained there in silence. Gael looked at him, wondering why he was still there, what he was waiting for.
"I think you should go home, now, and have a bath."
"I don't know where to go. I can't remember where's the place where I lived before... before..."
He burst into tears. Gael's heart melted. He took the young man in his arms, gently stroking his tangled hair, rocking the frail body. The boy pressed against the protective body.
"First, tell me what's your name."
"Adonis."
Gael stared at him, amused.
"Hey, that's really my name, don't laugh."
"Your parents were far-seeing... Well, what happened to you? Look at yourself, you're in such a shape!"
"I killed the woman I love."
His voice had been perfectly calm, suddenly, his face expressionless. Worried, Gael dragged him along.
"Come on, since you have nowhere to go and it's getting late, I suggest that you come home with me."
The young man followed him without arguing. Once in the safety of the house, he relaxed. The warm water of the bath finished to reshape him. Half a hour later he was feeling refreshed. He was now dressed with a clean long white shirt Gael had lended to him. His wet black hair were now combed out and contrasted with the pure white of the shirt. He was glittering, captivating. Gael was hypnotized by his beauty. Hardly pulling himself from his contemplation, he guided his guest to the room he got ready for him.
"Try to get some sleep, you'll feel better tomorrow, and we'll see what I can do for you. Good night!"
"...Good night..."
Gael went to bed quickly, leaving his guest in his room. But as he was somewhere between waking and sleeping, a silhouette went by his door and moved close to his bed. Awaking suddenly he saw Adonis standing there, staring at him. The sight of this half-naked beauty in his room in the middle of the night made him feel suddenly burning.
"I... I can't sleep. I'm afraid alone in the dark. Can I stay here with you?"
Without a word Gael pulled the sheets and made room for him, careless of the fact that he used to sleep naked. Adonis curled up against him like a child and fell rapidly asleep. Gael stared at him for a few minutes, thinking of how sweet it would be to make love to this amazing boy. Then he followed him into sleep.
Gael woke up in the morning with the feeling that someone was insistently watching him. He opened his eyes to see the bewitching smile of Adonis. The young man seemed grateful, but there was another expression on his face. Gael found out at the same time he felt the soft hand on his arm, traveling to his shoulder, then his neck, then his cheek. It was the sensual caress of a lover, anything friendly had disappeared then. Adonis moved his face close to Gael's, their lips nearly touching. Gael then realized that the boy had undressed before his waking. Adonis whispered a light "Good morning" and pressed his lips against Gael's mouth. Soft, but hot and hungry. Gael's arm encircled the boy's waist, forcing him to get closer. Their mouths opened, letting their tongues explore inside, finally mixing, twisting, an endless kiss that let them out of breath.
Adonis's hand was now finding its way on Gael's chest, moving slowly in light circles, stopping on a nipple. His tongue replaced his fingers there, causing sparks of pleasure in Gael's body and brain, letting him unable to move. He sighed and moaned, the other boy's lips going lower on his body, kissing, licking, teasing. His hand reached Gael's erection and began to stroke it gently, encouraged by the sighs and groaning of the vampire. He only released him the time lower his head to take him in his mouth, first licking the tip of the length, then following to its base, his throat relaxing to engulf him. Then he started to move his head up and down, his tongue drawing circles on the hot flesh. Gael breathed faster, groaned louder, his hands gripping Adonis's head, his fingers tangled in his hair. Suddenly he pushed the boy's head from him, laying him down on his back, and kneeled between the boy's legs. Adonis yelped, surprised. Gael grabbed the boy's ankles, setting them on his shoulders.
Adonis's thighs were soft and hot under Gael's hands. His fingers were travelling toward his buttocks. His left hand stopped on the boy's shaft while his right hand slided between his cheeks. He licked his fingers and started stroking the tight entrance of the boy's body. Adonis's back arched and a long moan came from his throat, pain and pleasure mixing from his groin to his brain when the fingers invaded him. Gael's fingers were playing in him and on him, rubbing, stretching, stroking, pleasing. Then he withdrew them, causing a groan of protest from Adonis, followed by a moan where were mixed pleasure and pain when he thrust into him, his left hand still slowly stroking the young vampire's shaft, his right hand caressing his hip.
The rhythm of his thrust sped up, Adonis's hips lifting, following the movement, trying to increase the pressure of Gael's hand on his length. They were both gasping loudly. Adonis managed to untangle his legs from Gael's shoulders to lower them, locking them around the vampire's waist. His hands let go of the sheets they were grasping and traveled to his lover's back, his long nails scratching him, leaving blood-red trails. Gael's lips were now on the young man's chest, licking and biting his nipples, then his neck, and finally his lips. They kissed again, moaning in each other's mouth when they came. They were panting, feeling full and pleased.
Obviously they enjoyed their companionship, though Adonis's feelings soon turned from physical need to true love, for the younger vampire had settled there for years. What could have amazed many mortals is that every day in all those years was a new source of discovery and happiness in their couple, even after more than fifty years. But time means nothing for a vampire. Yet this peace of mind was sometimes broken by Adonis's sudden melancholy, asking strange questions about the reason of their existence, calling himself parasite. Sometimes he disappeared and Gael had to search the city for a few days to bring him back home. But this state of mind never lasted long.
Then one day it was all over. Gael was painting in his workshop when Adonis came in, turned round him, and looked him in the eyes with a strange calm expression. Then he talked.
"Gael, I don't love you anymore."
He turned his back and left the room, left Gael speechless and still wondering when he had seen this expression on his face before. He realized it was when they met, when he coldly told him he had killed his beloved. And now it seemed that he'd killed his feelings, his love.
The day after, he was gone. Gael was alone when he woke up, and there was no trace of someone having lived here with him, as if he was awaking for an unnaturelly long dream. Adonis had vanished, simply.
Untill he came back three weeks ago, brought back from his memory by the psychic spying of his friend Kimiko, and back to his life by the obstinate searching of Sam. The combination of the two girls' curiosity and Adonis's own when they contacted him has resulted in this surprising comeback... and it seemed that for Adonis nothing had changed in their relationship, as if he had not been absent for more than one century.
But a lot of things had changed.
