Changing History

Warning: this is something silly! Just an idea I had about why baby Kakarotto cried so much... Read at your own risk ^_^

[The maternity ward of a hospital on Vegeta-sei...]

Doctor #1: "It's unbearable! Could you make that awful noise stop?"

Doctor #2: "..."

D#1: "Hey! Can you hear me?!" [slapping D#2 on the shoulder]

D#2: "Oh, sorry, I didn't hear you come, I had to put some cotton wool in my ears. This noise is-"

D#1: "Unbearable, that's what I was telling you! Make it stop!"

D#2: "I can't. Try if you want, that little bastard doesn't want to stop."

[Both head to the other side of the room, the wailing noise getting louder.]

D#1 [with fingers in his ears]: "What's his name?"

D#2 [yelling, trying to cover the noise]: "Kakarotto."

[D#1 looks thoughtfully at the baby, wondering how such a small thing could yell so loud.]

D#1: "... Can't we just kill him?"

D#2: "I don't think it's possible."

D#1: "Look, his little neighbor is crying, too."

D#2: "Yes, I fear this poor Broly is going to become mad."

[A girl appears suddenly (without even having to put her fingers in her ears ^_^)].

Girl: "Can I help you?"

D#1&2: "Who are you?"

Girl: "I'm Akane, I'm writing yaoi fics and I think I can help you."

D#1&2: "Yaoi fics? What's this?"

[Akane doesn't answer and takes Kakarotto, placing him in Broly's cradle. Silence and two babies smiling.]

A: "See? They'll be quiet, now... in a way. At least they won't cry. They just wanted to be together."

D#1: "Oh, thank you, it was really getting upsetting, and..."

D#2 [panicking]: "Kakarotto! Stop this! You can't do this to him! It's not a pacifier! Get it out of your mouth! Oh nooo..."

D#1 [sweat-dropping]: "Look at Broly's face... He seems to like it... What are we going to do with them?"

D#2: "She did it! It's all her fault! Where is she?"

[No girl in sight, only a faint chuckle can be heard in the distance. The room is quiet except for a soft sucking sound, a baby's giggle, and two doctors sobbing in each other's arms.]

D#1 [between sobs]: "I think I see what 'yaoi' is related to..."

D#2 [still sobbing]: "Why do I have the feeling that something important has been changed?...

[This was yet another attempt by Akane to change Vegeta-sei's fate: Broly won't become mad (I hope); Kakarotto will never be sent to Earth; Frieza will slip on a soap while getting out of the shower, slam his head on the floor, loose his memory and become pacifist (and finally accept Zarbon's proposal); young prince Vegeta will try to forget his crush for Nappa in Raditz's arms; Vegeta-sei will never be destroyed.

And two doctors will sob forever in each other's arms... ^_^]
