| Edward Nygma, also known as The Riddler, often will experience moments of comfusion, despite his advanced intelegence. That is one of the reasons he feels he must challenge his mind with such impossible riddles. His obsession with puzzles of all kinds would not be unhealth if it were not for his obsession with creating the harder, more impressive puzzles. His need for attention, as is recorded from his childhood records of showing off how much smarter he was, coincides with his need to impose these riddles on other people. In our last session, he asked me a totally off the wall riddle. It didn't make any sense at all. Perhaps that was due to the sedatives he had been put on prior that day when he tried to escape. If only they'd understand that if they just let it happen, let us help him get better. |
