Chapter 2: Crystal Life

�WHERE ARE THEY???� ChiChi demanded.
�I�m sure they�re on their way, ChiChi,� Goku assured his wife.
�Yeah, Mom. I don�t think Aunt Gayah would ever pass up your cooking,� Gohan smiled.
�That�s very flattering, dear, but their breakfast is getting COLD!!!� ChiChi yelled, holding the frying pan in her hand. Fey�lya, Zimena and Goten just stared at her.
�Umm�ChiChi, you�re scaring the kids,� Goku warned. ChiChi looked over at the three children who had scared looks on their faces.
�Sorry kids,� ChiChi apologized. After this was said, Zasyder and Gayah walked through the door. �And WHERE exactly have you two BEEN?? You�re worse than a pair of teenagers, I swear!� Zasyder rubbed the back of his neck and Gayah flashed a nervous smile.
�Well, I was taking a morning swim and Zasyder came�� Gayah started. �You know, it�s not really that important.� Zasyder nodded in agreement. ChiChi sighed.
�Okay, fine. Have it your way. But you have exactly 30 minutes to eat before we leave to visit Bulma and Vegeta. I would get cracking if I were you,� ChiChi ordered. And with that, she walked out of the room (frying pan in hand). Everyone looked at each other and laughed lightly to themselves, and ate their nearly cold breakfasts.

Exactly 30 minutes later, ChiChi came romping back in the room and tore everyone from their food, telling them to get in the large aircar given to them from Bulma. It took at least 15 minutes, but ChiChi managed to get them away from their plates.
�But I was still hungry, Mama!� Goten whined.
�You can eat when we get to Bulma�s, Goten. Now stop whining,� ChiChi scolded. Goten sluggishly walked into the aircar. Zasyder took the controls and they were off towards Capsule Corporation.

�VEGETA!! Get out of the Gravity Room! Goku and the others will be here any minute! I don�t want you all sweaty when they get here! Go and get a shower!� Bulma yelled.
�Woman, leave me in peace! I�ll be finished training when I feel like it!� Vegeta bellowed back at his wife. Trunks walked up to his mother.
�Won�t Dad come out, Mom?� Trunks asked.
�No, son. Your father wants to SLEEP ON THE SOFA!!!� Bulma answered. The Gravity Room door opened and Vegeta came out, growling. �Ha! So I got your attention now!� Vegeta shook his head. �Go get a shower. And when you�re done, you can help Trunks clean off the patio.� And with that, Bulma walked off. Vegeta clenched his fists together.
�That stupid woman�� Trunks looked up at his father. �Trunks, go start getting the patio ready. I�m getting a shower.� Vegeta walked off. Trunks cocked his head to the side.
�Sometimes my parents can be so immature,� he murmured to himself as he headed to the patio.

�Are we there yet?� Goten asked for the 30th time. Zasyder turned his head slightly and smiled.
�Not yet, little guy. But almost,� Zasyder answered. He turned his head.
�Goten, you should know better than not to disturb Zasyder while he�s driving. He needs to concentrate now sit here and be patient. Trunks isn�t going anywhere,� ChiChi scolded her son. Gayah turned her head and looked back at ChiChi.
�Cut the kid some slack, ChiChi! He really wants to see Trunks! It�s been a long time for the kid. And I�ll bet Fey�lya misses him too, don�t you sweetie?� Gayah asked. Fey�lya nodded.
�It�s been a long time since we could cause some troub-umm, I mean,� Fey�lya blushed. Gayah stood and walked over to her daughter.
�Fey�lya, if you ever�ever�EVER think of causing problems when we get to Bulma�s, I�ll be sure to ground you until you�re 35!� Gayah warned.
�Take it easy, honey. She never said she was going to do anything bad,� Zasyder spoke up. Gayah sighed.
�But you know how she is when her and Trunks gets together. Trunks takes after Vegeta a little too much,� Gayah stated.
�Well, when you put it that way�� Zasyder started.
�I won�t do anything, I promise!� Fey�lya cried.
�I�ll take your word for it,� Gayah said. She looked at Goten. �You going to make sure Trunks and Fey�lya don�t cause any trouble?� Goten smiled and nodded. �Good.� And with that, Gayah sat back down beside her husband as they approached Capsule Corporation.
�This ought to be a fun day,� Gohan replied as he looked at his father. Goku winced.
�Yeah, having Vegeta badger at me all day to spar with him�sure, real fun,� Goku remarked. Everyone chuckled. Zasyder landed the aircar in front of Capsule Corp and everyone got out.
�It�s about time you guys got here.� Everyone turned around and there was Kitaria, floating in the air, smiling. �I thought you guys were in a hurry to get here.�
�We were, but Gayah and Zasyder made us late,� ChiChi said before anyone could get a word in. Kitaria looked over at Gayah and Zasyder, who were both blushing.
�What is this I hear? Were you two being bad?� Kitaria asked as she descended and walked over to her adoptive mother. Gohan cringed.
�Kitaria, don�t ask them that. I really don�t want to hear what happened in detail,� he commented. Kitaria chuckled and put her arm around Gohan.
�Awe, don�t be such a baby, Gohan. We�re teenagers! We can handle it!� Kitaria stated. Gohan shook his head.
�Correction: you can, but I CAN�T,� Gohan replied. Kitaria laughed and kissed Gohan�s cheek.
�Yes you can, you just choose not to,� Kitaria remarked. Suddenly, Trunks came flying out of nowhere and tackled Goten to the ground, and they started wrestling, laughing loudly. Bulma, with Vegeta following, came outside.
�Hey guys! It�s great to see you!� Bulma exclaimed. Her and ChiChi grabbed each other�s hands and smiled. �It�s been so long!�
�TOO long, Bulma. I don�t know why we never keep in touch. It seems like we only talk to each other when a problem comes up,� ChiChi agreed.
�Well, why don�t we talk more up on the patio? Trunks and Veggie cleaned it up all by themselves,� Bulma replied. Vegeta growled.
�WOMAN, do NOT call me that!� he snapped. Gayah walked up to him and pinched his cheek.
�Awe, our wittle Veggie is growing up!� she stated. Vegeta blushed and stepped back. Bulma frowned.
�How come when she makes fun of you, you don�t have a problem with it?� Bulma asked.
�Because. She�s the Princess, and you�re just a common woman that I got stuck mating with,� Vegeta answered harshly. Gayah leaned over to Vegeta.
�Wrong answer,� she whispered. Bulma stormed over to her husband and got into his face.
�You REALLY want to sleep on the couch, don�t you? Or better yet, OUTSIDE!� she yelled. Vegeta just turned his head. �Fine. After everyone leaves, you can get your things and go outside and sleep in the cold.�
�I don�t think so, woman,� Vegeta fought back.
�Oh, but I DO.�
�Guys, please. We came here to catch up, not fight,� Goku spoke up as he got between his two friends. �Now let�s go up on the patio and talk about some things.� Goku had miraculously convinced the fighting couple and they all flew up to the patio (Goku carried ChiChi and Vegeta was forced to carry Bulma). Everyone sat down and before anyone could talk, Bulma spoke up.
�Everyone, there�s something I need to tell you.�
