| Chapter 22: Castle In The Sky Kitaria walked away, chuckling to herself. Vegeta followed behind her, growling and mumbling curses to himself for being so damned nice to someone he didn�t even like. And even though he didn�t want to admit it, he DID feel sorry for her. Ajiin RAPED her. But, he had too much pride to admit that. But, deep down inside, he wished he could have taught Ajiin a lesson for doing it to her. He just marched off into Capsule Corp. �What happened?� Gayah asked as Kitaria approached them. �I just realized why you are so nice to Vegeta. He really is a nice person on the inside. He has WAY too much pride though,� Kitaria explicated. Goku�s jaw dropped, amazed. �WHOA�I never thought I would be hearing those words come out of your mouth in that order!� Goku exclaimed. Kitaria just giggled and shrugged. �Yeah, well, things change. I�m going to call Trunks!� And with that, Kitaria went inside to call Trunks in the future. �Maybe there is hope for them two, yet, Goku,� Gayah noticed as she looked at her still mystified brother. She frowned. �Snap out of it. This is real, trust me.� He looked at her and smiled. �Yeah, I know. But it�s so hard to know that things are changing so much,� Goku replied. Gayah nodded, and suddenly, they heard a voice scream. �GOHAN!!!� Everyone turned their heads to see Videl running through the yard, straight to Gohan. She was crying. �Videl, what�s the matter?� Gohan asked as he started to walk towards her. She flew into his arms, making him fall over. �Bulma called�she told me�what happened�� Videl stuttered in between sobs. Gohan just rubbed her back, trying to stop her crying. He stood, Videl still clinging to him. ChiChi smiled and Goten just stared. Gohan looked at Bulma and she just gave him a thumbs up. He looked back down to Videl. �You alright?� Gohan asked. Videl looked up at him and frowned, then pounded her fists against his chest. He stepped back in confusion. �What do you mean, am I alright?? I�m not worried about me, I�m worried about you!� Videl snapped. Gohan smiled and chuckled nervously. �But, I�m okay now, Videl!� Gohan pointed out. Gayah walked up to them. �Yes, he is. We used the Dragonballs to bring him back, and everything is okay, just like it always is,� Gayah smirked as she put her soft hand on his shoulder. He looked at her and smiled. Videl just frowned at Gohan and he looked at her, trying to smile. She walked up to him, and kissed him. After Videl moved away, she smiled. Gohan blushed and could feel everyone looking at him. �Well, I for one, am glad you�re back. I don�t know what I would do without you,� Videl confessed. Gohan just rubbed the back of his neck, not knowing what to say. �Uhh�well�that�s very nice of you to say, Videl�� Gohan stumbled. *Come on! Kiss her!* Goku�s voice said telepathically. Gohan turned his head to his father and he nodded. Gohan looked back at Videl and chuckled nervously. �I CANNOT believe I�m about to do this.� Gohan leaned down and kissed her softly, placing his hand on her cheek. Videl collapsed into his chest, kissing back. They wrapped their arms around each other and their kiss became more passionate. Zasyder walked up to his wife and put his arm around her. �Hey, you okay?� �Yeah. It�s just that�he grew up so fast�� Gayah cried softly. Zasyder smiled and kissed her forehead. �Yeah, I know,� Zasyder agreed. Goku looked over at his wife and saw that she was dabbing her eyes with her dress. He walked over to her, smiling. �Oh Goku�look at our Gohan�our little baby�� ChiChi stammered. Goku just smiled and pulled her into a hug. �Yeah, but don�t worry, ChiChi. We still have Goten. And besides, we can always have another�� Goku faded off, realizing what he was suggesting. �You�d be willing to have another child?� ChiChi asked. Goku smiled and nodded. �Of course I would! Why wouldn�t I?� ChiChi�s bottom lip quivered, and she threw herself into her husband�s chest, crying. �Well�I don�t think I�ll be able to go through that kind of pain again,� ChiChi giggled. Goku just smiled at his wife, nodding in agreement. ChiChi kissed his cheek and laid her head against his chest, watching her son. Gohan moved away, and both him and Videl were blushing like mad. �Ohh�uhh�sorry, Videl,� Gohan apologized. He looked in the corner of his eye and saw that Goten, Trunks, Fey�lya and Zimena had been watching them in wonder. He cringed. �Man, I can�t believe I just did that in front of them!� Videl just smiled. �Oh, that�s okay, Gohan. It was my fault. I shouldn�t have kissed you first,� Videl snickered. Gohan forced a smile on his lips. He didn�t know what course of action to take now, after that little episode they had in front of his family and friends. She backed away. �Well, I better be going. I�m not supposed to be out of the house. If my father finds out I left, he�ll be pretty mad. I�m just glad to know that everything is okay.� Gohan smiled. �I appreciate you checking up on me. But don�t worry, everything is fine now,� Gohan reassured her. Videl nodded. �I just had to see for myself. I guess I�ll see you in school, right?� Videl asked. Gohan nodded with a smile. �Sure will!� he exclaimed. Videl flashed a smile, waved at everyone, and flew off. |
