Chapter 21: Together Again

�D-Daddy?� Fey�lya stuttered.
�Hey munchkin!� Zasyder chirped as he knelt down, holding out his arms. Fey�lya and Zimena both started to cry and ran towards him, knocking him down among impact.
�We missed you so much, Papa!� Zimena cried as she kissed him. Goku patted his son�s shoulder with a bright smile.
�It�s great to have you back, son,� Goku said softly. Gohan nodded. He turned his head and saw his mother and little brother coming towards him.
�GOHAN!!!� Goten yelled as he jumped into his older brother�s arms. �I missed you so much!� He buried his little face in Gohan�s chest and cried hard.
�It�s okay, big guy. I�m back for good now,� Gohan soothed his little brother. Suddenly, ChiChi came over to Gohan with open arms and hugged him, Goten still in Gohan�s arms.
�Oh Gohan�I�m so glad you�re back!� ChiChi shouted.
�Yeah, me too Mom,� Gohan agreed with a calm smile as his mother embraced him.
Bulma just stared at Vegeta with teary eyes. Vegeta huffed and crossed his arms over his chest.
�So woman, are you going to come here or not?� he asked. Bulma just smiled and ran over to her husband.
�Oh Vegeta! Thank Dende you�re back!� Bulma cried out. Vegeta just patted her on the back as she cried into his chest. Trunks walked up to them and just tried to smile as his parents embraced each other. Bulma moved away and looked at Trunks. �Go ahead, Trunks.� He nodded and grabbed onto his father�s leg.
�Dad!! Oh Dad!! You�re back!!� Vegeta formed a smile on his face and put his hand on his son�s head.
�Yes, I am, son,� he answered softly. Gayah watched Zasyder as he stood up and put down Zimena and Fey�lya.
�Hey honey. I watched you battle Ajiin. You did wonderful. I�ve never seen you so motivated before,� Zasyder replied as he started to walk towards her. �I guess it�s the Saiyan blood running through your veins, huh?� Gayah just smiled at him, grabbed the back of his head, and kissed him passionately. She moved away slowly, savoring the taste of his mouth again.
�Shut up. You always talked too much,� Gayah said with a smile. He laughed lightly at her. Everyone gathered around the other, hugging and kissing, thanking Dende that they were together again, and Ajiin was gone for good.
�Why don�t we get back home? I�m starving!� Kitaria exclaimed with an enthusiastic laugh. Everyone immediately agreed, thanked Dende for his help, and headed to Capsule Corp for a picnic.

Everyone was at Capsule Corp sitting outside, eating and talking happily.
�I don�t think I�ve ever seen Gayah so angry in my life!� Goku was saying to his friends. �You should have seen her! It took so much just to keep her sane!� Everyone laughed.
�That�s Gayah for you!� Zasyder agreed. Gayah blushed.
�Okay, let�s move on, please,� Gayah replied. Everyone laughed again. Kitaria laughed as well, and looked at Vegeta, who was staring into space. She stood, and sighed.
�I can�t believe I�m about to do this,� she thought to herself. Goku and Gayah looked at her.
�Kitaria, what�s the matter?� Goku asked. Kitaria didn�t answer.
�Kitaria?� Gayah started. �Hey!� Kitaria blinked and looked down at Gayah.
�Yeah?�
�What�s the matter?� Goku asked again.
�Oh, uh�nothing,� Kitaria answered hesitantly. She walked away, leaning against a tree. Gayah and Goku looked at each other.
�Something�s wrong,� they said in unison. They both stood, but was intercepted by Vegeta.
�I�ll go talk to the girl.�
�You will go and talk to Kitaria? But�WHY??� Goku questioned.
�Because it has something to do with me,� Vegeta answered.
�You?� Gayah inquired. �I don�t quite understand.�
�You will in time, Princess,� Vegeta informed. Then, he started to walk up to Kitaria, who continued to lean on the tree. She turned her head and saw the Saiyan Prince walking up to her with a serious look on his face. She just stared at him. He stopped, looking at her. �Alright girl, what is it?�
�What are you talking about?� Kitaria asked.
�I know you have something to tell me, now what is it?� Vegeta questioned again, getting impatient. Kitaria looked down at her feet. �So, are you going to tell me, or not?�
�Yes�I�ll tell you, I just don�t know how to word it, Vegeta,� Kitaria pointed out. She looked at him, and he just scoffed.
�Fine. When you�re ready to tell me, then come and get me,� Vegeta ordered as he started to walk away.
�No wait Vegeta!� Kitaria called. He stopped and turned his head. �I-I�m ready.� Vegeta turned around and walked back up to her, waiting for her to start talking. �Vegeta, I-I want you to know�that I�m sorry.� Vegeta looked at her, confused. Kitaria saw this in his expression, and cursed herself. She didn�t want to go into detail. �Uhh�I�m sorry for disgracing the Saiyan race in the fight with Ajiin.� She sighed. �If that isn�t good enough for him, then screw this.�
Vegeta just looked at her. �Girl, you�didn�t disgrace us.� Kitaria gasped. �I can�t believe I just said that.�
�Yes I did.�
�NO, you DIDN�T.�
�That�s easy for you to say. You died to help Goku and Gayah. I died because I gave up,� Kitaria explained. Vegeta huffed.
�Now you are disgracing us, girl. Take pride in what you can do!� Vegeta scolded. Kitaria stood speechless.
�But what I can do was obviously not enough,� Kitaria stated.
�Don�t force yourself past your limits, because it won�t do a damn thing for you,� Vegeta informed.
�Yeah, I�I know,� Kitaria said. Vegeta just stood there in silence. He actually didn�t like to see her standing there, feeling worthless. He stepped in closer to her and put his hand on her shoulder. She looked absolutely shocked.
�Listen to me, girl. You�ve done a lot for the Saiyan race, and you should be proud. What Ajiin did to you was wrong, and even I can admit that,� Vegeta started. Kitaria just looked at him, and he removed his hand from her shoulder. He could feel a pair of eyes looking at him. �Stupid Kakarot. Why does he have to watch me? Now he�ll badger at me for having good in my weak heart.� He turned his attention back at Kitaria, who looked a little happier.
�I feel a little better to know that is how you feel. Thank you, Vegeta. I guess you�re not really that bad of a person,� Kitaria smiled. Vegeta smirked evilly.
�That�s what you think, girl. I�m only being nice to you because I feel bad for you,� Vegeta remarked. Kitaria still smiled.
�That�s alright if you feel bad for me. It�s the first step in being a different person,� Kitaria stated. Vegeta growled.
�Trust me, girl, I�m still evil on the inside. This is the first and ONLY time you will see me being nice to you,� Vegeta educated. Kitaria nodded.
�I understand, but I wouldn�t say that so soon,� Kitaria said. �You still have time to change, and while you�re here, you definitely will. I can guarantee that.� And with that, Kitaria started to walk off. She stopped and turned around, smiling at Vegeta. �Maybe we can even be friends now.�
�WHAT?? I�m not going to be your friend! Have you gone completely out of your mind??� Vegeta snapped. Kitaria just frowned.
�Fine. Be that way, Veggie-Head,� Kitaria commented.
�DON�T CALL ME THAT!!�
