Chapter 20: Coming Back

Ajiin stayed in his place, defeated. The Spirit Bomb hit him, and immediately disappeared back into the Dead World, never to return. Gayah and Kitaria both fell from the sky, spent and exhausted. Goku slowly made his way over to them and knelt beside them.
�And now it�s over for good, and I�ve finally avenged my parents� deaths. But�I don�t think even they could compare to the both of you�� Kitaria faded off as she went into unconsciousness. Gayah turned her head, looking at her unconscious friend. Then she turned and looked at Goku, who just smiled at her. She smiled back. The terror was over�for GOOD this time. Suddenly, ChiChi and Bulma came rushing outside.
�Oh my gosh! What happened??� Bulma demanded as they ran over to them.
�Ajiin came back,� Goku replied.
�WHAT?? And the three of you fought him??� ChiChi asked, astounded.
�Yes. But�he was still dead. We had killed him, but he was allowed by the ruler of the Dead World to come and take revenge. Goku defeated him with a Spirit Bomb. He won�t be bothering anyone else ever again,� Gayah explained.
�How terrible!� Bulma exclaimed.
�C�mon Bulma, we better get these guys inside and clean their wounds before they get infected or something even worse!� ChiChi said. Bulma nodded. Goku called Flying Nimbus and got Kitaria propped on it. Nimbus floated inside the house and Bulma and ChiChi got her on the couch. They rushed into the bathroom to get a first aid kit. Goku scooped Gayah in his arms and carried her in as well, being careful not to move her too much in case something was broken.
�Do you think you�re okay? Did your Psywave Meditation wear you out?� Goku asked softly as they walked through the door.
�Yeah, I guess it did. But, it was worth it. Now Ajiin is gone for good, and we know he�s never coming back,� Gayah replied. Goku nodded, and set her down on the other couch next to Kitaria. Kitaria was now resting peacefully, her wounds being cleared up by ChiChi. Fey�lya and Goten walked through the kitchen door, yawning.
�What�s goin� on?� Goten asked sleepily.
�Mom?� Fey�lya started as she noticed her mother lying on the couch with bruises and scratches. She rushed over to her. �Are you alright Mom?�
�I�m just fine, honey,� Gayah reassured her daughter.
�Really?� Fey�lya worried. Gayah nodded and kissed her daughter�s forehead. �Oh�okay.�
�What happened to Kitaria? Will she be okay, Mama?� Goten asked ChiChi.
�She�ll be alright, dear,� ChiChi answered her youngest son.
�If Gohan was here, he wouldn�t be very happy, would he Daddy?� Goten asked his father. Goku just smiled at him, and placed his hand on Goten�s head.
�No son, he wouldn�t,� Goku responded. Goten smiled back and chuckled as Goku ran his hands through his youngest son�s hair. �But, your brother doesn�t have to worry because everything is okay now.� Goten nodded.
�Why don�t you kids go wake up Trunks and Zimena, and go get something to eat while we take care of these guys?� Bulma suggested. They nodded and Fey�lya walked out. Goten looked back, then walked up to Gayah and kissed her on the cheek.
�I hope you feel better soon, Aunt Gayah,� he murmured. He walked over to Kitaria and kissed her too. �Wake up soon, Kitaria.� And with that, he ran out of the room. Gayah watched him go with tender eyes, and a tear ran down her cheek. She let out a long breath and closed her eyes.
�I can�t believe that poor child had to suffer,� Gayah sighed. Bulma, ChiChi and Goku looked at each other, and then at her. �He�s so innocent.�
�Gayah, it�s okay. It�s not like there was anything you could have done. Ajiin was a ruthless killer. I mean, he even killed Vegeta and Zasyder. There was no way you could have stopped him,� Bulma reminded her. Gayah stood up.
�Even so, I could have done something to prevent it!� Gayah exclaimed. �ChiChi, you were right. I should have done something to stop him. I should have been the one to die out there, not the children. They didn�t even deserve it.�
�Gayah, it�s alright, really. Just knowing that Ajiin is gone and the children are safe makes me feel better. You, Goku and Kitaria have done more than enough,� ChiChi replied. She put her hand on Gayah�s shoulder. �The only thing you can do now is rest, and we wait for a Namekian year to pass, and we�ll bring back my Gohan, Bulma�s Vegeta, and your Zasyder.� Gayah just looked down. Goku walked over to his sister and pushed on her shoulders, making her sit back down.
�Gayah, take it easy. I�ll go and get us Senzu Beans,� Goku said as he walked out of the room.
�The three of you did a great job. Our lives couldn�t have been in better hands,� Bulma stated with a smile. And with that, her and ChiChi left the room. Gayah watched them go. She laid down and looked over at Kitaria, who was still asleep. She closed her eyes, and for the first time, imagined the pain that Zasyder felt when Ajiin killed him. Chills ran down her spine and she reopened her eyes, coming face-to-face with Goku. He was looking at her worriedly.
�You okay?� he asked as he handed her a Senzu Bean. She nodded at him.
�Yeah, I�m just fine. I was thinking about Zasyder, that�s all,� Gayah put in. Goku nodded as Gayah sat up. Goku sat down beside her as she ate the bean. It replenished her strength and she felt better. They looked over at Kitaria. �Do you think she�ll wake up soon?�
�Yeah, I know she will. She was just exhausted from letting out all of that energy,� Goku explicated.
�Can you believe it, Goku? He was the one who wreaked all of that havoc in Kitaria�s time. He was the reason why we found her in the forest that one afternoon in that bassinet, crying,� Gayah stated. He nodded. �He�s the reason we treated her like she was our daughter.� Goku looked at her, and her eyes got glossy. She looked down and started to shake as tears sprung from her eyes. �He�s the reason she was killed, having the same fate as her parents.� Goku put his hand on her shoulder, and then pulled her into his chest.
�But it�s okay now, Gayah. Kitaria is safe and has avenged the person who destroyed her true family,� Goku commented. Gayah moved away and nodded.
�And thank goodness that bastard is dead for good,� Gayah snapped. She still wanted to punish him more, but knowing he had received death sufficed for her. Goku nodded in agreement. He laid down and Gayah fell down with him, and they fell asleep�

**A Namekian Year Later**

�I can�t believe it! I�m finally going to get my son back!� ChiChi exclaimed in joy. A Namekian year had passed, and everyone was at Dende�s while Goku and Dende were on New Namek wishing back Vegeta, Gohan and Zasyder.
�Yes, it seems like it�s been a long time since we�ve seen the three of them,� Gayah added with a smile.
�Well, really it has been. A Namekian year,� Kitaria said. Everyone nodded in agreement. Gayah put her hands on Fey�lya�s shoulders as she waited in anticipation to see her father. She fidgeted under her mother�s hands while her younger sister just stood silently and patiently for her uncle to return. Suddenly, Goku appeared, with three figures standing next to him�
