Chapter 14: Broken Wings

It took a lot, but ChiChi had convinced Goten to stay behind while his father went off to fight. Bulma made Trunks stay behind and Feylya and Zimena knew they would be in the way if they went, so they let their mother go and fight for their father.
So, do you think hell be pissed? Kitaria asked in the wind.
Oh yeah. We better watch it. But if he cant use his rage to make him stronger, hell be blinded by it and it will be much easier for us to fight him, Gayah informed.
But we dont know if that will happen, Goku added.
Well, well find out once we get there, wont we? Kitaria asked. Goku and Gayah both nodded. They arrived at the scene, and Ajiin was still lying unconscious, just as Goku and Gayah left him, with one less arm. I wish he was dead instead of just unconscious.
We all do, Kitaria. But in order for him to die, we have to try and kill him, Goku interrupted. And this may not be an easy task.
Screw that! We wont try, well do, Kitaria corrected. Or at least I will. Hes a sick man for what he did to me. Gayah looked at Goku, then back at Kitaria.
Hey, dont worry. Well take revenge for what he did to you, and for what he did to everyone else, Gayah reassured her. Everything will be okay in the end. It always is.
Yeah, I guess youre right. Everyone should feel safe with you two. You ARE, after all, the strongest Saiyans, Kitaria reminded them. Goku and Gayah just smiled.
Its a family thing, I think, Goku laughed. Gayah and Kitaria giggled.
I can feel Ajiins energy getting higher. Hell probably be coming out of unconsciousness soon, Gayah spoke up.
Shouldnt we just kill him now while hes unconscious? Kitaria questioned.
No, because I want him to be well aware of the pain hes receiving for what hes done, Gayah disagreed.
Dont worry, Gayah. Well all make sure that hell pay for what has happened, Goku remarked. Kitaria and Gayah both nodded in agreement, and looked at their enemy lying on the ground. Kitaria frowned.
I hate the anticipation, she mumbled. Goku and Gayah looked at her. I REALLY want to fight him. Can I go first?
No, absolutely not. Were fighting TOGETHER. There is no way in hell were going to lose you again. This time, were going to fight together and not hold anything back. We wont let Ajiin take the advantage, Gayah scolded.
Oh, cmon, Gayah. Just for a little while? If it looks like hes going to do something bad, then you both can jump in, Kitaria tried to reason.
This isnt a game, Kitaria. The fate of Earth and the rest of the Universe rests with this battle. If we dont kill him, then Ajiin will wipe all of us out, and move on to the next galaxy. Thats how he is. He doesnt care what happens to anyone. He only does this for fun, Goku interrupted. Kitaria hung her head.
You two always seem to make it a game, Kitaria pointed out.
Well, thats when we know we have a good enough chance to defeat our enemy. But, this time is much different. We cant be too careful, Gayah informed. Kitaria folded her arms over her chest.
Alright, FINE. You win. We fight together, Kitaria gave in. Gayah and Goku both nodded in victory. So, whats the plan, then? How are we going to do this? He seems to have a lot of psychic powers. And he can also transport people to other dimensions, and after hes done that, there is no way to communicate with anyone out of that dimension. So, that means we have to be very fast-witted with him or hell take lead of us. And we cant let him do that or well lose this.
Yes, we know. But we have to be confident in what were capable of doing. But not too over-confident, because that will be our downfall, and well be sure to lose. We have to watch our faults, Gayah explained.
Yes. Use your full power only when you need to. We cant have one of us being slowed down because we powered up max too soon. Save your energy when you know youll need it the most, Goku added.
All this preaching is making me sick, Kitaria put in.
But its important. We wished you back before anyone else for a reason, Gayah stated.
Well, why, then? Kitaria asked.
Because. For some reason, you have the ability to force your energy above its limits when you are angry. We can use this to our advantage. Gohan would have been an excellent choice as well for this one, considering you can both do the same thing, but Gayah looked at Goku. I didnt want to have to put him in this battle. Depending on him so much again like we did with Cell doesnt make me feel right. And I know you can handle this. Youre old enough to understand. Kitaria nodded.
Yeah, I know.
Wait, I didnt know thats why you wanted Kitaria to come back first, Goku interfered. Why didnt you tell me?
Because, I knew what you would have said. Goku, I dont want to sacrifice Gohan. I hate seeing him suffer. I hate seeing ANYONE suffer, but seeing himI cant bear it. Thats why I made sure he didnt die with a lot of pain. When I felt his pain inside of me, I could have died with him. Hes your son, and I dont want anything else to happen to him. I think I finally understand why you stayed in the Other World after Cell was defeated. Then I didnt fully understand it, but now I do. But this time will be different. This timeno one else is going to get hurt. Ill die first.
Isnt that interesting to know? Gayah, Goku and Kitaria turned their heads and Ajiin was standing, smiling hard. If youll die first, then that means I get to have fun with you. Wed be picking up right where we left off anyway.
Ajiin, go to hell. This time, youre not going to get your way, Gayah replied. All three of them powered up. Because this time, you have THREE Saiyans to deal with, and none of them seem to be very happy.
