Chapter 12: Our Luck Is Changing

When Goku and Gayah arrived, everyone was there and very excited to see Gayah and Goku all right. But it was time to explain to them what had happened.
�They�re gone. All of them. Goku and I are the only ones left. Ajiin killed them all, except for us. He absorbed me, and I broke away from him, causing him to go into unconsciousness. We�re using this time to try and find the Dragonballs. If we don�t find them�� Gayah faded off.
�Vegeta and Trunks?� Bulma started. Goku and Gayah looked at each other, then nodded slowly.
�We�re both sorry, Bulma. You know how he is. He wouldn�t have let us help him even if we had insisted,� Goku pointed out. Bulma nodded in agreement.
�I know. It�s all right. I understand.�
�Goku�� He turned his head and looked at his wife. �Gohan and Goten are�dead?� Gayah stepped forward.
�I told him not to interfere, ChiChi,� Gayah replied. ChiChi looked at her.
�But�WHY??�
�Because. We could nothing,� Gayah remarked. ChiChi grabbed her shirt and pulled on her.
�NOTHING?? There had to be something you could have done to save my sons!� ChiChi snapped. Gayah grabbed her hands and released her from her shirt.
�I know it isn�t easy on you, ChiChi. I know how you�re feeling,� Gayah informed.
�HOW??�
�Because I lost my husband and WATCHED my children die right before my eyes! Fey�lya TRIED to save Goten! She put her life before his! And I did everything in my power to make sure Gohan wouldn�t die in pain!� Gayah yelled. ChiChi backed away. �I-I�m sorry. Look ChiChi, you have to believe me. There was nothing Goku or I or any one of us could have done to save Gohan or Goten. Ajiin�s too powerful for us. Well, maybe not for Goku. He�s not going to be easy. But we�ll use the Dragonballs to get everyone back.� ChiChi nodded.
�Okay. Please Gayah, get them back. They mean everything to me,� ChiChi pleaded. Goku put his arms around her and hugged her.
�ChiChi, I�ll get them back. Our sons will live again, I swear it.� Gayah smiled, and a tear ran down her cheek.
�I wish I could have Zasyder here to put his arms around ME. I hate being the calm and serious one, especially at times like these,� Gayah thought to herself. Goku moved away and kissed ChiChi�s forehead. �Bulma, we need the Dragon Radar as soon as possible. If Goku and I don�t get going soon, we�ll never get our chance to make our wishes.�
�But Gayah, you need rest. I can tell,� Bulma interfered.
�No, I�ll be just fine,� Gayah reassured her with a small smile.
�But shouldn�t you be at your fullest for the battle with Ajiin?� Bulma asked.
�She�s right, Gayah. We�ll go to Korin�s and then we�ll go and see Dende,� Goku agreed.
�Why Dende?� Bulma questioned.
�He can go to Namek and use their Dragonballs to wish back the others as well. This way we get them back faster,� Goku explained. �I�ll use my Instant Transmission to take him there and I�m sure the Nameks will help, and then I�ll bring him back after the wishes have been made.�
�That�s five wishes right there. That�s Fey�lya, Zimena, Goten, Trunks and Kitaria. Vegeta, Gohan and Zasyder will have to wait,� Gayah added.
�Right. We need to get the children before the others,� ChiChi agreed.
�And that�s exactly what we�ll do,� Goku nodded.
�I can�t believe we�re actually being granted time to do this. We�re always defying treacherous menaces somehow, Goku,� Gayah informed. Goku just looked at her.
�We�ve always been the lucky ones,� Goku replied. Gayah had to agree. It was true. They were always defying death or life-threatening danger. They were Saiyans. It must have come with the territory. �Well, I think we better get going. We�ll get to Korin and get some Senzu Beans, and then we�ll head to see Dende. I�ll take Dende to Namek to get their Dragonballs and make the wishes while here Gayah and I get these ones and use the two wishes here,� Goku explained. Bulma handed Goku the Dragon Radar.
�Both of you be careful. We�re counting on you. You are the Earth�s last hope,� Bulma remarked. Gayah and Goku both smiled.
�Don�t worry about us. Everything is going to turn out fine. I know it will, and we�ll get the children back as soon as we can, THEN we�ll yell at them for running off into battle without our consent,� Gayah commented. Bulma and ChiChi both smiled. Goku called out the window.
�Flying Nimbus!� His old childhood friend appeared at the open window. �We�ll use Nimbus to get around, this way we save our energy.� Gayah nodded. Goku got on with Gayah on the back. �We�ll see you later!�
�Goku, Gayah, be careful, and good luck!� ChiChi yelled as they flew off. �Do you think they�ll be okay?�
�I bet they�ll be just fine, ChiChi. They never go back on their word,� Bulma reminded her.

Gayah and Goku quickly made their way to Korin Tower. When they got there, Korin was standing there with a bag in his hand.
�Here you go, you two. I figured you would be coming by here to get some of these,� Korin replied. Goku took the bag, and sure enough, inside were Senzu Beans.
�You always know when we need your help. I don�t know what we�d do without you, Korin,� Gayah smiled. The elder cat just smiled back. Goku reached into the bag and pulled one out, handing it to Gayah.
�Here Gayah. Take this. I�m sure you�ll feel a lot better,� Goku urged. Gayah took it from him and put it in her mouth, chewing on it. Soon enough, the Senzu Bean had gone to work and Gayah�s strength was fully restored to its original level. Goku smiled in approval, happy that his sister was back to normal and ready to fight for the honor of their home.
�Thanks a lot Korin. We�re heading up to see Dende now. We have some wishing to do with the Eternal Dragon,� Gayah explained.
�Yes, I know. Good luck. If I believe in anyone to protect Earth, it�s you two,� Korin stated. Gayah and Goku smiled. Then, after jumping back on Nimbus and again thanking Korin, they headed up to Dende�s.
