My name is Samantha Powell, I am a 17 year old senior at Seton La Salle high school. My birthaday is April 15th and I am an Aries, and damn proud to be one too! I voice my opinions more often then never and I always I have something to say. I am overly friendly and outgoing most of the time, and my friends say that I have to be "on something" because I am happy all the time.
I love to wite, whether it is a little note to a friend or a report for a class, writing just makes me happy. I aspire to become a famous writer/journalist. And I plan to double major in Journalism and Psychology when I get to college next year. I am accepted to and going to the University of Gannon in Erie Pennsylvania.
I don't drive yet even though I have my permit, because I SUCK at giving directions, so how would I be able to find my way around? Plus, I have almost crashed into a tree, two cars and innocent pedestrians, so I don't think anyone would WANT to get in a car with me. Though, I adore cruising around anywhere with a car full of friends just singing to the radio and laughing out loud at inside jokes.
I am a hopeless romantic and I go through crushes sometimes two or three at a time. Although right now I think I have found I guy that I would truely love to have a relationship with at the moment. We'll see what happens.
Most of the poems I write are actually feelings I have experienced throughout the past two or three years, most of them are very recent.
The ideal guy for me is dark and mysterious, knows when to be serious and when to laugh out loud and goof off. He knows how to carry out an intelligent conversation and is always there for his friends. He has dark hair and blue eyes and has a look about him that quietly says "There is something about me that you will never find out about"
My plans for the future... start an awesome career as a writer, find the guy that I am supposed to love for the rest of my life and then marry him and have three boys just like him. Ha ha ha, I have big plans, but I will achieve my goals some day. Give me an overstuffed couch, a turkey and swiss sandwich on whole weat bread and a notebook and pen, and I will be totally and genuinely happy. I wouldn't mind it if you threw in a breath-taking view of the mountains either.
I have blue eyes, blonde hair, and I used to consider myself tall, but ALOT of people are taller then me. I prefer guy friends to friends that are girls because of the tendency for girls to get all up in your case. I have a lot of close friends that are guys. Actually a few of my guyfriends are ex-boyfreinds... but you must understand, I don't have hate and I need my guys to be there for me. A promise that I will always be there for them.
The miscellanious things: My favorite color is blue, my favorite number is 2 or 041584, my emotions are rather "roller coaster" like, but what else is to be expected from a writer who loves drama. I love mountains and overstuffed furniture (you may remember from above), I am very proud to be an Aries.. one of the three miscevious fire signs! Yeah.. they kinda rock :)
I am currently working on a book titled "Two Birds... One Stone." It's basically a real life/fiction collaboration and it takes in personality traits of a few good friends of mine... as well as one or two of the people I hate/love to hate at the present time.
My mother calls me a snob... but it's basically because I am just one of those kind of people who know what they want and I don't really accept anything less then my standards. Well that includes every aspect of my life except for when it comes to guys. There are just a few out there that my standards don't or didn't apply to, although some have made me wish that I had thought twice... as you will find out or be able to assume from the poetry that follows, especially in the last pages.
